I highly doubt that there will be a Special Edition for the game, since no other Suda 51 game had any.

Sounds like Europe (not sure if country-specific) is getting a day-one Fan Edition which comes with a soundtrack CD, cool packaging, DLC, and a bunch of physical goodies. Considering importing it for PS3 if the DLC can be obtained on a US PS3.

Maybe Xseed will announce a cool package for the North American release, but I'm not really expecting anything.

XSeed announced an hour ago on Facebook that ALL launch units will come with the following:

- KILLER IS DEAD the game
- An 80 page hardcover art book
- A soundtrack CD containing 25 songs
- The `Smooth Operator' DLC pack containing bonus in-game goods `Gigolo Glasses', alternate costumes for Vivienne and Mika, and a bonus `Gigolo Mission' with Betty
- Additional "Episode 51" with the vampiric Sebastian

Cool. Too bad that's a preorder-only thing. Gotta decide whether to be a schmuck and get my third PS3 SUDA51 game, or go for 360 since its versions of "Shadows of the Damned" and "Lollipop Chainsaw" are better. (Poor audio compression in the former, screen tearing during cutscenes in the latter.)

It would be nice if the PS3 version performed just as well this time around... Gotta hate preorders before direct comparisons between multiple versions have been made, but I want that soundtrack CD.

I just looked up the European special edition. It really does look nice. Somewhat unique poster, a papercraft statue and a sweet looking outerbox its packaged in. We don't have it half bad though, we do get the artbook, soundtrack and DLC in launch editions here that are in the EU limited edition.

The CD is my biggest concern. Gotta have more Yamaoka tunes. I'm glad we're not missing out on that.

Yes, you can access European DLC on a US PS3 by creating a European PSN account. I did it with White Knight Chronicles II and White Knight Chronicles: Origins. It's not difficult to do, but googling it will tell you exactly what to do. Hope this helps :-)

Yes, it's been confirmed to have dual audio:

Alright. Thanks, Christopher.

Now, I just need Amazon to have international shipping for it.

So the only difference between the EU's Fan Edition and NA's Limited Edition is the additional poster and papercraft diorama, right?
