I bought this from an independent seller new, assumed there was an access code. None of the new books have access codes. It seems you can only buy a book with an access code from your school bookstore. You're better off buying a used book and buying the access code online at myeducationlab for $31. It's very misleading on all of the online sites. My professor said we had to buy a new book in order to get an access code. Not at all. Buy used.

Be aware, although amazon lists this item as new and shows a picture of the myeducationlab information, this book does not come bundled with an access code. I have contacted customer service and they have put in to have the item looked into. They have informed me none of the new items in there stock have these codes and therefore I got a refund on the $103 book. It is cheaper to buy it used for $55 and then buy the access code directly from myeducationlab.com.

This book is great for any teacher or any person wanting to know about special education. It is very informative and provides guiding questions to help you think about the different areas of special education. I would recommend this book to anybody and everybody wanting to learn about special education and disabilities.

This book is very helpful in giving basic information that teachers need about the world of special education.

This product is exactly what I needed. I got it quickly and had no problems with the transaction.

I got this book for a class in college. I just started the teaching program but I will be holding onto this book for a long time. It is a very useful to use if you need advice for a special education situation. It's a little wordy at times since I am a visual learner and there is also an online version of it but stick to the book because although it is wordy, it does have charts and "what would you do" scenarios.

The process of ordering and recieving this book was very positive. Delivery was speedy and product was better than said condition.

This new book was a great value compared to what my daughter's bookstore at school was selling the book for. Thanks for saving me money!! Book was in the condition stated and it arrived promptly.

Both books have the same detail with this book doing a much better job with each of the many IDEA-related special needs problems.

This book is a cut above the usual garbage produced by the pedagogy field. It is intelligent, not patronizing, practical, substantive. There is still that tendency to lace text with unnecessary citations, as dictated by the bureaucratic pseudoscience of education.
