Helped me pass state exam
I picked this book up to study for my state exam for special education teachers. I had training in this subject and I passed the exam just by studying this book and state exam test.

This Book
It has some useful information in it, but beware that it uses outdated laws (IDEA 97). Other info is useful, for example, the characteristics of children with the listed disability.

While this book contains information relative to the work of a special education teacher,the publication date is enough years ago that the information is not current and/or such common practice that it renders the book redundant and unnecessary as a "must have". I would consider purchasing arevised/updated version.
