Sterling Hamiliton may have been an ultra fine, super hunk actor but he carried a deep scar left by his mother who walked out on him and his dad when he was still a young child. Sterling wants a child and has a plan that does not include the childs mother. Colby Wingate was raised by her brother after the death of their parents, he is CEO of a young cosmetic company with a new line of mens products that Colby hopes Sterling will endorse.

Sterling makes Colby an offer when he assumes she is there for his proposal of having his baby, although Colby is opposed to his offer she learns of a threat against her brothers company that forces her to accept. The public are not the only ones suprised when Sterling and Colby announce their engagement so is Colby's family and friends. Sterling and Colby play out their relationship for all to see but Colby's uniqueness is beginning to tear away some of Sterling resolve. As Colby accepts her love for Sterling and learns of his secret pain, she vows to remain with him and be a permanent part of their childs life. Sterling finds a gentle peace in Colby that calms his scattered emotions. Colby's love guides Sterling into forgiveness, trust, and love. We meet Sterling's mother and brother making way for a continuing saga. I truly loved this story.

LADIES, SISTERS, GIRLFRIENDS - where do I begin. In my review for 'Eternally Yours', I stated that I'd let you know (to all those willing to read my reviews) how this book compared to the compelling, page-turning love story of Clayton & Syneda. Well - let's just say that, Sterling & Colby had it going on, too. Their love came about in a strange way, and it was an unexpected surprise for the both of them. Although, I can't truly say that it's better than the previous books, Brenda Jackson has a way of making her books find a special place in your heart for each one - what one may lack, the other will more than likely take up for. Please read this latest novel by the Queen - there's mentioning of Kyle & Kimara, as well as Clayton and others from 'Eternally Yours'. Before I go, I must mention that Colby was one tough cookie, girlfriend didn't take anything from Mr. Big Movie Star, and the way she compared him to Denzil, was fantastic. ---- You go girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love everything written thus far by Brenda Jackson. But this story about drop dead gorgeous Sterling Hamilton, superstar and school teacher,shy Colby is by far the most touching and endearing. The transformation of Sterling from unfeeling,self-centered jerk to a truly loving, family man due to the perseverance and unflappable love from Colby is Brenda Jackson at her finest. I understand that BET movies has decided to use the story as an upcoming made for T.V movie, but to the dismay of many Brenda Jackson fans and Mrs. Jackson too, the script has nothing at all to do with the beautiful story that is ONE SPECIAL MOMENT. I recommend this and any book written by Brenda Jackson to all.

This book was a good, fast read. I really enjoyed it. The character development was terrific and the end was very romantic.

Just what I have been looking for - good BLACK ROMANTIC LOVE!!!!!

I absolutely love this book. I was drawn in since the very first page. This book should be more popular cause it is truley a good book. I read this book 2 times and still want to read it again. I fell inlove with Sterling's character. This was a definetly good read.

I'm so excited because i just found out this was on DVD. i WILL be buying it soon.

I really enjoyed this story. I was funny to me. Sterling really had a lot of nerves, but Colby got is number alright! It was a very romantic story in that two people tried their best to make the most of a very uncomfortable situation ( well maybe just in Colby's opinion). But like they say "Love Conquers All." You go Mrs. Jackson! Much Love to you.

I love the story of Colby and Sterling. They truly had One Special Moment. Their characteristics were truly written for them. I love how they handle each other. It was undeniable that they just couldn't be without each other. Colby was very strong woman and Sterling had the attitude that went well with it. Brenda, I can't wait until one of your stories become a BET movie.

A beautifully written love story by Mrs. Jackson!! Colby and Sterling made an awesome couple together. Colby finally tore down Sterling's resistance and he fell in love with her. I've read almost all of Mrs. Jackson's novels and I've enjoyed all of them. Unit next time, Keep up the good work!!!

Colby Wingate is set to meet with superstar Sterling Hamilton's attorney to propose that he endorse, Awesome, a men's fragrance produced by her brother's company. The sparks just begin to fly when Colby tells him what he can do with his offer. Love finds a way for Sterling Hamilton, a spin-off character from two earlier Jackson stories. This one's a keeper.

This is another book in the ever connecting Madaris series by Mrs. jackson. This is the first book I read before I realized it was a series. I've been hooked on this author every since. Colby and Sterling are both hard headed, tenacious people out to do whatever it takes to avoid love and end up in just that. After Sterling's shocking proposition who would ever think that Colby would accept much less comply. There adventure in love is tender and entertaining.
