Excellent Resource for the Practitioner or Administrator,
By John Crowley (Los Angeles, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Special Needs Adoptions: Practice Issues (Garland Reference Library of Social Science) (Hardcover)
This title was purchased as a referece work for an MSW thesis. The text is well laid out, covers issues relevant to both policy and practice, and provides an excellent description of the study on which it is based. This is one of only six solid texts identifiable that dealt with non-traditional families as a resource for special needs children awaiting adoption. An excellent resource, and worth the money (even if you're living on student loans). |
