Special Teams: The Winning Edge,

This review is from: Special Teams - The Winning Edge (Art & Science of Coaching) (Paperback)
Coach Arbuckle's book on Special Teams is second to none in football literature. I own over a half a dozen books dedicated to Special Teams and this book has no rivals. He does an outstanding job breaking down every aspect of the kicking game in explicit detail and leaves the guess work out of Special Teams.

I recently began a coaching career at a NAIA school-upon doing so, the punt return/block team became my charge. Having never played on this special team, I was desperate for some formal instruction in the way of a manual for repeat, at-will, referral. This book gives attention to contemporary special team strategy as well as traditional looks. It has been a savior and I recommend it to any coach seeking supplemental instruction from a veteran source. My season is far from over, however at this point I have the #6 punt return team in the country!! Thanks.
