Great songs, good vocals, original lyrics with a bite, September 8, 2004

SPECIES CLOSEOUT is a wonderful debut CD for Thea K. A very original singer songwriter and band leader, Thea K. has written some memorable lyrics with a conscience and a bite. Thea K. is NOT a hollering nothing sort of music maker, but one with some interesting points to make set to memorable melodies with rhythms that rock you. This girl can sing! I've listened to the best, and the best would love these tunes and record them, too, if they heard them. There are some that are so memorable they stick in your head and should be bestselling hits. DAMAGED GOODS and SPECIES CLOSEOUT as well as FACE THE FEAR are great songs--ones which could last the ages and still be sung for years to come. Very original and poetic lyrics, good vocals, and terrific guitar playing. Five Stars for sure! That a way to go Thea K ! You rock us good!
