This ToughSkin adds a bit of protection without compromising function. You do not have to open a case and take the Nuvi out every time you go in or out the the car or using the Nuvi in pedestrian mode. It provides added grip when holding the Nuvi and adds only minimal bulk to the Nuvi so you can still place the Nuvi in many pockets. Fits any of the 2xx Series (not the 2xx Wide models)

These tough skins are awesome. They come with a clear screen protector, and then the skin fits the unit perfectly. You can still use the GPS without taking it out of a case, but have protection in case it's dropped or falls. I feel much safer having the toughskin on my GPS, and it is also easier to hang on to the unit with the skin on, a nice contrast to the slick surface of the unit. I highly recommend this item. It comes in different sizes for almost any series.

This is an awesome product. Just got it in today as a gift. It fits well onto the nuvi 260, and the included ballmount attachment (comes with the 260) fits right over the holster clip perfectly. The plastic screen cover is slightly smaller than the screen by ~3mm, but I suppose that is ok. All in all, an excellent product

I move my GPS between my car, truck, and boat and this product has prevented damage many times. I also received clear covers for the screen that have not needed to be changed yet. A source for replacement screen covers was not given.

Opened it up, put it on - fits great. The clip fit onto my Nuvi 260 with the skin on, and the window mount fit that too (Speck claim it fits the 260 on their website, although Amazon's site doesn't reflect that). Perfect.

But then I tried to plug in a USB cable to the USB port. Nothing lined up, so I had to remove the skin every time I wanted to connect to the computer, or recharge the unit. Is mine the only one like this? I didn't see a single other review that mentions this.

After about an hour with a file and utility knife, it all fits. But there's no way I could return it now. I wound up shaving about 1/4" from the opening for the USB port to make it fit.

Otherwise, though, a decent product. Somebody in QC needs to pay more attention, though (or redesign it). It would be a simple fix for them, but requires a little time and patience for me to do.

The cover fits nicely on my 265T, all ports/openings are fully accessible. The cover has a nice sturdy thick rubbery feel. However, the screen protector is about 1mm too small in each direction for the 265T/275T. It is stuck on the unit in a one-shot-only awkward process. Additionally, despite the claim, the car mount for the 265T/275T cannot be used with this case on the unit.

The compatibility with the car mount and other accessories such as the bike mount, are the primary reason I chose this case. If you want to use the case with anything other than the included belt holder, you need to pass on this item.

This is a quality custom fit rubber protection case! All the external ports, controls and mounting points remain totally accessible. No need to remove the case to use all functions of the unit. Design also provides protection against inadvertent tuning on of the unit. I am confident it would prevent case damage if dropped. Unit still fits in the Case Logic AGPS-2 3.5" case even with the Speck Toughskin on it which shows how snug the Speck Toughskin fits. Well worth the price.

The Speck ToughSkin fits snugly over my Garmin 200 and does a great job of protecting it as well as giving it some grip so it doesn't slip out of my hands when I'm moving it from car to car. Mines came with a belt clip which goes over the rubber case (the clip has additional grooves to click into the car mount) so it fits perfectly with the car mount. I can see why some people had some trouble trying to get the GPS with the ToughSkin onto the car mount but it should come with a belt clip which fixes that problem. Great product and would give this a 5/5.

I just got back from a 10 day excursion and it protected my Garmin from all the accidental drops. If you are going to be using the Garmin while walking or riding then I highly recommend this Tough Speck case.

the rubber case for the garmin is great! it protects Garmin so if you were to drop it by accident it would be protected by the rubber case. the rubber case also lets us set it on dash and it it sticks so other dash holder is not necessary to use I would tell people to invest in this product.
