The strap on this armband has no elasticity so that if it's tightened enough to keep a heavy 60/80 gig iPod from slipping, it feels like a tourniquet. At least you can listen to music while donating blood. The click wheel and dock connecter are completely exposed - no protection from the elements or sweat.

I love the looks and people ask me about it ... but it has started tearing ... getting dirty with sweat .... it's not washable ... if used everyday at the gym ... then it may last for about 3months ... then you'll start seeing the wear and tear on it

I've had this arm band for about 2 years now, and it's still going strong. Though you cannot wash it in the washing machine, you can spot clean it with a warm washcloth with some laundry detergent on it. Also, the strap is very long, it was designed for upper-arm use. It holds the iPod in place even when jogging and going cross-country running. The back has a little pocket for a key and/or some folded up money. Like a previous reviewer said, the charging dock and click wheel are infact exposed - personally I use a sweatband underneath the strap/holder to ensure the longevity of my iPod for this particular use. All in all, an excellent buy!

A Nice arm band for my 80g I-POD ! I have a very demanding job that demands a lot of movement. So I am satisfied with it ! I do hope it is washable since it does get a little stinky if you wear it a lot on your direct skin and sweat, but other than that it is a very nice and reliable product!
