While I prefer the look of this to the silicone covers, it lacks the protection. I stopped using it after I dropped my iPhone about 3 feet and the case popped open at the seems leaving my iPhone exposed.

If you just want a case to personalize the look of your iPhone this is an okay option, but it is not a good option for protection. I say it is okay for looks and not great because the fabric is fuzzing after just a couple of weeks.

My other problem with this is that the buttons are difficult the reach and the headphone jack is difficult to plug into. There are better options.

I recently purchased the iphone 3g and immediately wanted to get a case so I wouldn't scratch it up. I decided on the speck because it looked stylish, and it turned out to be a really great case. Not only does it look good, it is also really sturdy. There is one corner of it that doesn't quite close completely tight, but it is a great fit. I love the design and feel of the fabric. The only downside with the fabric is cleaning if it gets stained or dirty. Overall great case and I'd like to get a couple more!
