I purchased this backpack in the hopes that it would fit my HP 17inch laptop. It does but it is very, very snug. I have to stretch the bag over the laptop, it does zipper just fine, but it definitely does not fit all 17 inch laptops comfortably.

I was a little scared about the fit for my laptop after reading another review about it not fitting a 17" Hp laptop. I made the purchase and I must say this bag is great. My laptop fits perfectly and can be removed with no issue. I would not recommend using it for a 17" laptop, unless it is an apple laptop.
The secret back door compartment on this bag is great. I can finally remove my laptop without actually opening up the whole bag. You simply just unzip the back support (back cushion) and remove it, or place it back. I highly recommend this bag to anyone if you are searching for a quality bag and great support for your laptop. Just for FYI, If you buy this bag on the company website you will pay $100, but if you buy through Amazon you only pay $55 not including shipping.
