Product Description

The FitFolio case fits the Kindle Keyboard, Kindle 3 and similar-sized e-readers, combining the fit of a precision-molded hard shell case, with the cover-to-cover protection in a book-style folio. The form-fit hard-shell cradle keeps your Kindle Keyboard or Kindle 3 securely in place, so it doesn't slip or slide, even when the cover is folded back and held in one hand. A vegan leatherette book-style cover protects the Kindle Keyboard or Kindle 3 screen when it’s in your bag or your jacket pocket. The cover is lined with super-soft padded microsuede and is held securely in place with a small bungee cord.

The case is very slim and fits the Kindle Keyboard perfectly.

It can be removed easily by gently pressing on the top of the case & the Kindle pops up slightly & than can be pulled out.

I rarely use the elastic band to actually strap it closed because it stays closed without it.

I have had this case in black for over 1 month now so my review is from daily use of this product. Although the description says its for e-readers, its actually cut for the Kindle Keyboard (Kindle 3) because of the way its designed. The Kindle snaps in nicely. It can be removed easily by gently pressing on the top of the case & the Kindle pops up slightly & than can be pulled out. The cradle (inside) isn't lined with microsuede like other cases which means no potential staining on the back of the Kindle.

On the front of my Kindle I haven't noticed any staining on my keyboard. You can't see it from the pictures but at the top of the case there are 2 openings that protect but don't block the speakers so that you can listen to audible books or music comfortably without taking the Kindle from the case. If you zoom in on the picture you can see that there are small indentations on the left side of the case on the bottom which cradle the keys instead of smashing them or leaving too much space as other covers have. If you zoom in on the same side at the top you can see that the case pokes out slightly where the screen of the Kindle sits. This is not a design flaw. What this does is that when the case is closed the part that pokes out slightly sits flush against the screen. This has been good for me because I don't have a screen protector for my Kindle & have not gotten any scratches or smudges on my screen so this has also served as my screen protector.

I enjoy folding back the cover when I read. At 1st the cover seems stiff & as if it would crack in the spine from folding. This doesn't happen at all. The spine still folds nicely & doesn't have any creases or cracks.

I purchased this case in a store. Love it! I have had no issues with the bungie cord. In fact I like it. It is very light weight and seems very durable. Would like to get one for my daughter who has a k3. I have had many cases for my k3 and this is my favorite because it is so light weight and doesn't add a lot of bulk to the kindle. I can just put it in my purse and I'm off!

I ordered this case earlier in the year, right after I bought my Kindle 3. This is hands down the best case you can get for your reading device. Unlike other reader cases this Fitfolio fits snuggly around the corners and edges of the Kindle and holds it in place. The case's color (red) is vibrant, the vegan leatherette style makes your device look like a leather bound book, and the inside has a soft micro-suede padding with little indentations for the screen and each key. This case is just amazing. The price isn't bad either, especially for the quality of the product. You will pay the same (in some cases more) for a different product that does not protect as well. I highly recommend this case. Thanks to the Fitfolio I never have fear of damaging my Kindle when I take it on the go. This case does its job. You will never need anything else!

It's tough looking for a non-leather case that is high quality and aesthetically pleasing. I can also get to read my kindle more comfortably. I was looking for one that has a hand strap, but with the cord on this one, although not designed for that purpose, serves very well. I open my case, fold it back and wear the cord around my finger(s) to hold it up. It's not bulky at all and it looks like a very expensive case, and I consider myself a very picky person, considering that I have been looking for one for over a year now. Glad I found Speck! Love my kindle even more now!!

I've owned my KK for almost a year and a half now, and had a few cases during that time, but this one is my favorite. I was tired of cases that looked pretty but just held the KK by a few flimsy straps or a hinge and added too much bulk. This case has a far superior design. The KK doesn't just sit on top with a few straps, it fits firmly into the case, held in on each of the 4 sides. I won't go into all the little details, as the description already does that. Suffice to say that it has a very well thought out design, intended for the comfort and convenience of the reader; that the profile is as slim as it can be for a truly protective case; and that the peacock blue is a bright beautiful color (totally appropriate for guys though, if you're sensitive about that kind of thing).

This is a great Kindle3 hard cover. There are holes in the top of the case, so that you can hear music and audio books. The place where the Kindle sits is plastic. The inside of the cover (that touches the screen) is made of super-soft fabric. When the Kindle is inside the case, all the buttons are easy to touch. I am happy I bought this cover and I would recommend it to others.

I like this cover for the Kindle reader a lot. It is well made, looks almost like leather, does not make the kindle bulky or heavy, and protects it well. Minor issue is that the front side of the cover came a little bit tilted upwards. I think it will fold back over time. Another minor issue is that the on-off button is slightly hard to operate with the cover if you have very short nails like I do.

I like that it is easy to fold over and read the kindle that way, or you can open it like a book if you prefer. I hope the little loop that holds the cover closed will hold up over time, I will let you know if it doesn't.

Interesting that I could not find this cover until I specifically looked at the Speck website. I have other Speck products for my Iphone and like them a lot.
It seems that Amazon does not list the Speck products for Kindle covers unless you search for the name Speck.
