I really like this cover, but do not be misled by the product pictures like I was. I was expecting the front that turns into the stand to come with this since it was in all of the pictures. I probably would not have purchased this if I had known it was only the back half. But now that I have it and have also purchased the front (Apple® iPad 2TM Smart Cover - Orange (MC945LL/A)), I am really glad that I have it. It's just grippy enough to make the iPad easier to hang onto. It fits perfectly and should be a good foil to my clumsiness.

I purchased the navy Apple SmartCover when I got my iPad2 but wasn't crazy about the "naked" back. The SmartShell was the answer I was waiting for, it's thin, tough and in the sheer orange color it's easy to find my iPad in the crowd of my family's iPads. I love it.

This item is great! I got a clear plastic cover from Best Buy (I believe the brand was Belkin) and it cracked on the bottom on the second day so I returned it. Since I love the color orange and have an orange smart cover I decided to try this one out. The color doesn't exactly match the smart cover color but it's close and not so much of a difference that it looks bad. It clicks into place very easily (unlike the clear one I had), it feels good, goes perfect with the smart cover and is easy to take off as well. Really recommend this.

I use my iPad 2 a lot. i use it for work to take notes on and for recreational purposes. I HATED the smart cover because it would always slip off or flap alot while I was holding it. I saw this online and thought it was ingenious to have the metal strip on the back. So far, the Smart Cover has never come off while using it. my only recommendation for this product is to add another strip in the middle so the smart cover is completely secure while open.

Sure, my own fault for not reading the product description good enough. But look at the photo and read the first few lines of the description... you'd THINK that it included the Smart Cover, but it does NOT. So basically you end up paying $27 for a piece of plastic. Good job seller, you got me.
