I WAS VERY EXCITED TO BE ABLE TO USE MY BRAND NEW "SPECK-UNIVERSAL GPS FLYER TRAVEL CASE FOR PORTABLE GPS ACCESSORIES" THAT I GOT IN THE MAIL TODAY. I DID A LOT OF RESEARCH, AND WENT BACK AND FORTH, WITH HOURS OF RESEARCHING VARIOUS PORTABLE GPS CASES, AND FINALLY DECIDED ON THE SPECK. WELL, AFTER OPENING THE BOX, I WAS INITALLY VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE, THAT IS, UNTIL I OPENED THE COMPARTMENT, WHERE YOU PLACE THE GPS, FOR MOUNTING, AND USING IN AN ALTERNATE WAY, OTHER THAN THE SUCTION CUP MOUNT, OR THE SAND BAG MOUNT, BECAUSE I WANTED TO USE IF FOR HIKING IN THE MOUNTAINS, AND FOR TOURING ON MOTORCYCLE. WELL THE POUCH THAT CRADLES THE GPS AGAINST A PLASTIC PROTECTIVE WINDOW, AND VELCRO'S INTO AN UPRIGHT POSITION FOR EASY READING AND USEAGE......WILL ONLY HOLD A GPS OF ABOUT 3 INCHES OR 3.5 INCHES TOPS!!! I HAVE A 5 INCH 1490T GARMIN, AND THERE IS NO WAY IT WILL EVER FIT INTO THIS MINATURE HOLDER!! I WAS HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED AS IT NEVER GAVE THIS SMALL SIZE CONFIGURATION IN THE DESCRIPTION, OR I WOULD HAVE NEVER CONSIDERED IT!! THIS SMALL SIZE GPS HOLDER IS OUT OF DATE ,AND OBSOLETE FOR THE NORMAL SIZE GPS UNITS OF TODAY, WHICH IS APPROX. 4.3 INCHES,AND GROWING!!
THE REST OF THE CASE WAS OK, AND LOOKED PRETTY WELL MADE, FOR NORMAL USE, BUT NOT FOR 007 OUTDOORSMAN TYPE USE. IT IS ABLE TO HOLD THE ACCESSORIES FOR THE GPS ONLY, AND HAS A USELESS "EXTENSION "COMPARTMENT, THAT YOU UNZIP FOR AN ADDITIONAL 2 INCHES OF ROOM, FOR I DON'T KNOW WHAT. SO MY RELENTLESS RESEARCH DID NOT HELP ME OUT ON THIS PURCHASE, AND I AM VERY UNHAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE, FOR THE MAIN REASON OF; INCOMPATABILITY WITH MY DEVICE" INCAPABLE OF SECURING MY GPS FOR MOUNTED MOBILE USE. I WASTED MY MONEY ON THIS ONE!!

This is a great case and holds lots of GPS acceessories. I have a large number of accessories so the expandable feature came in handy. Although I don't use the pop up feature for the GPS because I have a dash mount, I can see where this would be convenient if you can't leave the GPS in the car and have to take your GPS with you; simply zip the GPS back into the case and you're off. This case is durable and holds up well.

I like having everything in one place and it is easy to put the cord in the case. However the GPS unit itself is difficult to put into its case plus if you have to charge the battery, it is impossible to do without taking it out of it smaller case. It is not as easy as I thought it would be.

The GPS case keeps all the components together in one unit,cables,charger,base holders and can be moved to any location for easy viewing and Not be falling over or slidding off the dash or seat,good product,also has room for extra storage.
