I bought a Speck See Thru Satin in red for my White Unibody Macbook. I've had it on for just a couple of weeks. Today, I popped off the bottom-side case to install ram and I noticed 4 red stain rings which appear to be from the "feet" of the casing. I've contacted Speck regarding this issue and I haven't heard back.

This is a big problem for me because I only bought the Speck case to protect my MacBook from damages/blemishes and maintain the resale value of this computer. I bought this macbook less than a month ago and I am very annoyed.

I URGE AMAZON TO STOP SELLING THIS PRODUCT.

This case sucks. I took it off after having it on for two weeks. and there are four red rings on the bottom of my macbook. Im returning this right now.
Update: Even though the red stains wont go away. What I figured happened was there are four round pieces that come with the bottom plate of the speck case. I was supposed to snap them so they would add protection. Yet I left them the way they were packed. This is what caused the red stains.

This appeared to be a very nice case, but it didn't fit my 13-inch MacBook. That's not because there's something wrong with the case however - it's just that the finer print verbiage that came with it stated that it wouldn't fit a slightly older version MacBook.....I just wished the online description was more specific so I didn't buy it, only to return it.

The color is great - but I'm still looking for a red case that will fit (and is in stock somewhere.)

This deep red/burgundy case stained the bottom of my BRAND NEW MacBook (not even 5 weeks old!!!). Now it's all pink. Unfortunately, I did not discover this until I popped the bottom casing out. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CASING FOR YOUR MACBOOK.

This is a great laptop case. Looks stunning in the red. Feels really neat. However, keep in mind that it is for the newer style of the Macbooks. I didn't know this, and ordered it, and it does not fit at all for my old Macbook. I returned it easily and the seller was very efficient. I would recommend this product for anyone with the new Macbook, I wish I could have had it for mine!!!

Case was used, but practically new. It was worth buying. Mainly because I did not want to pay extra money for a brand new case.

I received my cover today, I have a 2009 Macbook 13" white unibody, bottom fits fine, the top wont
won't stay on at all! Trying to return it now.

fits great, no problem with it , nice color and good price , also note that it is for white unibody macbook made after 2007 and NOT the macbook pro

I liked the idea of the easy to grip surface, but I've had it on my MacBook for only about 2 weeks and the finish is already scratching all over the place, and wearing on the front edge where apparently I rest my hand. Not happy, Speck. Soon I'll have a crummy, scratched cover that people will ask about so they know what NOT to buy. I work for a company that provides these laptops, so there are several hundred people looking for covers to buy. Just not this one.

i accidentally purchased this case for my friend but the color of the product was amazing. the shipping came in fairly decent and overall it was a good product just not a product that was made for her macbook
