The price and overall design of the official Apple brand armband for the Ipod Mini MP3 player I found a bit off-putting. So, I went shopping for a different make of armband and came upon the Speck Mini Ipod Armband with Ipod skin. The design appealed to me because it looked like the type of armband that I could have confidence in when using my Ipod while working out, especially while running. Thus far, the Speck has certainly met my expectations. While it took some getting used to having a device strapped to my arm that was a little heavier than what I was used to, I soon developed a confidence that the Speck armband was keeping my Ipod Mini firmly in place. Despite and extended range of motion and lots of sweat, the rubberized material didn't even budge from the position I strapped it on in.

There are just a few minor qualms I have with product, but not enough to undo my satisfaction with the product. The first is that the Velcro material that comprises the strap is ridiculously strong and can cause ripping of the Velcro if the user is not careful about how they try to un-strap it. The second is that the strap only works if you put the Ipod mini in the skin it comes with. It's a bit of a hassle to put the Ipod in the skin and take it out again.

However, the skin is quite durable and gives one an extra sense of confidence knowing that the Ipod is protected from a variety of mishaps. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the functionality of the Speck Ipod Mini Armband and highly recommend it to anyone.

This is the prefect fit for the iPod mini. I lost my first iPod mini. It fell out of my pocket and some lucky person had them an iPod. I got this case after my second mini and I will not lose this one. It fits the iPod perfectly and the adjustable strap goes around your arm and fits comfortably. Also, the style fits the iPod and it is less expensive than Apple's version. I recommend this one over Apple's. The case would also absorb some shock if one were to drop their mini. So, the conclusion is this is one nice looking case that works.

I bought one of these after looking at all the competition. I really like this one! I wish the skin had a screen protector, and click-wheel protection, but otherwise, I like the skin, too.

I think that the armband's velcro has been upgraded lately-I heard of the stuff falling off before, but this one has no such issues. It also looks different from the earlier ones I have seen reviewed.

Although its a good deal since it came with a skin, the first time i took it out of the package and undid the armband, the velcro patch came clean off. I get the feeling it may happen again if i buy again. Not sure i will buy another one.

I recently got my ipod mini... and, being a profuse sweater, I was always concerned about sweating all over my new toy! I searched and asked around for the best armband... and this is what I found. I absolutely love it! I am currently training for a sprint triathlon and I don't know how I ever got by without this armband. I do a ton of running and biking (not to mention elliptical and stairmaster - when I have to) and this armband is perfect for all of them. It's nice and snug but not uncomfortable. It keeps your mini secure and puts your mind at ease while you work out. The skin that comes with it really protects my mini and I don't stress out about dropping it or sweating in it, plus I can get to the controls easily without constantly having to turn the "hold" button on and off all the time. I highly recommend this product.

This product is great. I work out with it mainly but sometimes i use it while cleaning and such. I was a little nervous at first buying the product but I love it now!! The iPOD mini is very secure in the skin in the holder and it includes a free skin protectant in case it were to fall for some reason. The skin is a little difficult to get on at first but isn't as bad as i imagined it to be!!

It takes forever to put your ipod into the skin holder. So if you don't ever need to take it out this won't be a problem. When I took it out of the package and pulled apart the velcro the veclro buttons came off. I super glued them back on and they have stayed ever since. I have tried other peoples arm bands before and this one is definitely the most comfortable. The skin does a good job of protecting the ipod and is easy to use while in it.

I purchased the Speck Ipod Mini armband product so that I could use my Ipod mini while working out. I had originally purchased the Apple branded arm band, but it did not provide any protection for the Ipod mini. The Speck product is great. Works while I'm running or lifting weights. If you want to listen to your Ipod while working out, this is a great product.

Have had this for two weeks. Loved it at first but the band is ripping from the metal screws in the back. Shame because it is a perfect fit...

I wanted a silicone case and an armband to carry and protect my mini when at the gym or on the go. This does the job well. The mini is really secure inside the clip (when it is in the case). I like that I can keep the silicone case on the ipod even when not attached to the band.
The velcro seems secure on the band and the band seems very durable.
I am very happy with the product.
