4.0 out of 5 stars good protection
I had checked out a few different shuffle cases and covers before buying this. I like the idea of having the headphones and shuffle totally protected. This is definitely "bullet proof". It is a little bulkier than it has to be. There is a two sided plastic stand in the middle of the holder that the shuffle snaps into. Unfortunately, this design takes up a lot of room...

2.0 out of 5 stars Unnecessarily small - bulky zipper
The rigid case does keep my 2G Shuffle secure, but the earbuds have to be wound too tightly in order to fit inside the case - wind them loosely and they spring outside and in the way of the large and bulky zipper. Earphone wires should never be wound tightly, as every pamphlet will caution. The case does not need such a large zipper - well placed velcro would have...

Unfortunately, this design takes up a lot of room and if you wanted to store your connector cord / charger, along with your headphones, it doesn't work too well. You can get them in but it's a squeeze and it doesn't open properly after you do. If they just made a foam "cut out" for the shuffle instead of the plastic stand, the rest of the case could have been used to carry everything else.
It's a good, lightweight case though if you're just carrying your shuffle and headphones. The carbiner clip is useful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice case for shuffle, ear buds, and small USB plugin., September 6, 2007

I really like this case. My shuffle snaps in perfectly. The ear buds wind around the snap-in features, so I can avoid the dreaded cord tangle. I also purchased the following mini USB charger:
White - iPod Shuffle 2nd Generation USB Charger Adapter
There is plenty of room inside the case for this little guy (but not enough room for my original charger -- which I just keep hooked up to my desktop). I took a small piece of sticky back velcro, attached one side to the top inside of my case, and the other side of the velcro to the USB charger. The USB charger sticks to the velcro and I don't have to worry about it falling out. I can carry everything I need with me in the case. It works great!

5.0 out of 5 stars a great case for the shuffle 2nd gen. Mp3, November 19, 2007

I wanted a hard case for my shuffle, so I could take it everywhere and not have to worry about anything damaging both my Mp3 and earbuds. Plus, I was tired of unwinding the earbuds everytime I wanted to listen to music. The shuffle fits snugly in the middle, and the earbuds can be wrapped around the inner braces. Also, I don't have to worry about leaving it somewhere, because it clips right on to my belt loop. Safe, secure, and well made. I ended up buying three of them for my family members! I recommend this product for any shuffle 2nd gen. owners.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works well, October 29, 2007

I bought this carrying case because I was taking my iPod shuffle to the gym and the cord would get really tangled in my bag plus I wanted to protect my shuffle better. The case is very sturdy. The only thing I dislike and it's very minor is that I have very little time at the gym so I need to rush out. Sometimes it's a pain having to wind the cord around as I am rushing out the door and I just shove it in the case to save time. Of course, it doesn't fit as well this way since it is not meant to be used that way but I manage to get it in. Also, I find it annoying that the clip almost always gets in my way as I am zipping the case closed. I always seem to have it turned in just the right way that the clip falls in the path of the zipper. Very minor problems and they are all due to me being in a huge hurry. I still like the case and overall it works very well. I would buy it again and would recommend it.

This is an amazing case as long as you get it in black, or blue. For some strange reason all the pink cases seem to be a bit blemished. I have ordered two of these cases in pink thinking that my first order was defective, but the same sort of blemish was on both cases(which I have ordered from separate sellers). On the other hand, the blue case I had ordered was flawless and blemish free.

I own an iPod nano with a touch screen. This case comes with a rubbery insert which I have removed in order to fit my iPod nano perfectly into the plastic clip which is hidden under the rubber piece. My iPod nano does fit snugly, and doesn't slip around.

I'm glad I got this case, it's a wonderful case, just not so thrilled with the smudge on the pink colored cases. I'd suggest if you're getting this case, try to check it out in person if you can to make sure the coloring isn't tweaked in any sort of way,

5.0 out of 5 stars Ipod Puck, January 14, 2009

I ordered the product before Christmas and it arrived in plenty of time. My son loves it! It is a great way to keep his Shuffle and buds in one place. He attached it (via the clip which is part of the puck) to his bookbag and he doesn't need to guess where he left his Shuffle. My niece purchased one last year in green, but this one was only offered in black, which was not a problem for my son. It appears to be made very well. I checked it out directly at Speck and it was less expensive through them, but they charged a hefty shipping and handling cost. Through Amazon, I used the Super Saver Shipping and it came out less than direct from Speck.

I have been using the Zipper-puck for about three months now and find it to be very convenient.
I use the included clip to attach it to the outside of my backpack (which goes with me to work, the gym, and is in the car when I hit the trails). I run at lunch almost everyday, I just grab the puck off my pack on my way to the locker room, when done I snap my iPod back in, wind up the cords and clip it back to my back.
When I need to add music or just charge the shuffle I just snap it out of the case and back in when I am done. My earbuds stay wound up nice and tight and out of the way (and untangled!).
I didn't give the puck 5 stars because of the tendency of the zipper to grab the inner edge of the case. Just pulling outwards while zipping avoids this, but sometimes when in a hurry I grap, zip, and get it stuck.
However, I did like it enough to buy a second one as a gift for a fellow health enthusiast.

The iPod Shuffle fits perfectly inside the brackets and you can easily wind the ear plugs around it without having any of the wire/line hanging out like other carrying cases I have seen. A must have for any iPod Shuffle owner.

5.0 out of 5 stars Coolest Shuffle case, hands down......., September 14, 2008
This review is from: Speck Zipper-Puck Carrying Case for iPod shuffle 2G (Black) (Electronics)
My father bought my daughter a shuffle and the lady at the Apple store sent her one of these hard cases for it. After seeing how cool it was I bought one for his shuffle for his birthday. The Ipod snaps pretty tight into the holder and the headphone cord wraps perfectly around the outside. I wish they made one for the Nano so I could clip in on my backpack while we were hiking

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT, September 1, 2008

I absolutely love this product! I bought the cute pink case-it holds my shuffle and my earphones in a neat little protected case. It fits into my gym bag, purse and brief case perfectly! It also has a nice sturdy clip that connects nicely to my water bottle at the gym, or while we are out on a hike. It's a great buy!
