My 11 year old son LOVES THIS! He is having fun practicing all of the tricks and then performing for the rest of the family. I admit he fooled me on a couple of the tricks! For a starter kit, this is great. The price was right and he is learning a lot of fun things.

We have had this for some time. The suitcase is cardboard and did not hold up to repeated opening and closing and use. However, this magic set was otherwise wonderful. It was easy for my son to watch the dvd, learn the trick and then preform it. He is 9 and has really enjoyed the tricks. There are a variety of tricks that are good for younger children (9) to do and then are some that are harder that he will have to grow into with dexterity.

I got this for my 5 year old who is in to magic. I learned few tricks and performed it during birthday party all kids loved it younger and older. You have however to buy silk hankie yourself, it's not included. But I saved $150 not calling for a professional party magician. All night long kids were busy trying to copy my tricks with their own little "magic" kits I prepared with soft balls, cups and hankies from a dollar store. Now I enjoy teaching one trick a night my own kids with this magic set they love.

My 8 and 10 year old love this toy. It's great practice for talking in front of people. There are lots of tricks they can figure out on there own with help from the DVD included. Buying all those tricks separately would cost a fortune. The hat and tricks were a much better quality than what I even expected.

My [...] daughter loves this. She watched the dvd on her own and performed for us. I was disappointed that the "rabbit" to pull out of the hat & for use on other tricks is a small yellow rabbit shaped sponge. Of course to adults some of the tricks are cheesy, but my daughter loves them! I have never seen any other to compare it to.

We bought this for my 7 year old for Christmas and he loves it! There were plenty of tricks that he could do and his 13 yr. old brother loved it just as much. Quality is good - i'm sure not the best, but still very good since he's just using it as a toy. The case is just cardboard but if you're gentle with it should last a good while. He loves the hat and wand that came with it!

I bought this magic suitcase for my 9 year old daughter as a Christmas gift. It took more days than promised to arrive after the purchase due to holiday shipping delays. My daughter is little disappointed in the sense that she could not find more than 46 tricks overall in the suitcase. This toy is promoted for children under 12 years. But my daughter thinks this toy is more suitable for children who are below 8 years of age. The DVD did not play properly for some magic tricks. Overall the DVD quality is good but it does not show all tricks. The quality of the hat and other items is okay. Additional items that are required for some magic tricks are not included in the suitcase.

My daughter received this as a gift for her 10th birthday and absolutely loves it! She told me it was her favorite gift. The instructional DVD is great because she can watch and practice the tricks at the same time. She enjoys showing the magic tricks to her family and friends. There are a wide range of tricks from simple to more complex. The suitcase is cardboard and rabbits are made out of foam, but I still feel like it's a good deal for the money.

This is a great magic kit!!! I bought this for my youngest daughter for Christmas and it is the one gift that I haven't regretted buying. It comes with a "SHOW you how DVD, so you don't have to read any confusing HOW TO books. Since it has 100 tricks in it, she can still go back and learn more and do more shows for us. She hasn't even done half the tricks yet. In other words, this kit is going to provide long lasting entertainment still.

Magic set is great. Lots of tricks and easy for kids to learn. Suitcase is just made of card board though and not very sturdy.
