Definitely the best out of the 8 incredible volumes. The ep's included in this volume are on another level from just about any other animated show out there. I really liked the 90's Spiderman cartoon, but the ending of the Spectacular Spiderman series (contained in vol. 8) puts it well ahead of the earlier incarnation. The phrase "Do yourself a favor" is so over-used on these reviews, but this time its warranted. Do yourself a favor and check this out. Find out what a masterpiece of animated entertainment Spectacular Spidey volume 8 truly is.

ALL episodes in this Spectacular Spider-Man animated series are absolutely The Best Spider-Man cartoons and stories since the 1966 Amazing Spider-Man IN COLOR cartoons!!

Season 1 was well... Spectacular! Season 2 was highly anticipated and DID NOT DISAPPOINT - equally Spectacular!!

The ONLY disappointment is that there is NO Season 3 or more!! What is it with Disney - the new owners of Marvel!? This entire series deserves more and more seasons!

The retelling of the early Spider-Man stories with totally modern twists was a stroke of genius! With all the material having been written in the Classic Comic Books how could Disney cancel this series!!??

Then again Disney did the same thing with their equally ground breaking reinterpretation of Iron Man with their Iron Man Armor Adventures - BUT that is another sad story for for an equally fantastic series!! What's worse they left us with a cliff hanger!! What really happened to Tony Stark Sr.!!??

DISNEY - wake up and bring both series back!!! There were non better!

The final volume of Spectacular Spider Man has an amazing ending to it. Sure, there's no closure, but there's plenty of everything you'd expect from this series. A must-buy for a great series.

A great show. The best animated Spiderman series. It is a shame that Disney had to get the rights back to the show and cancel this one.

The people behind the scenes of this show also worked on the Gargoyle show in the mid-90s. If you like that show, you'll like this one as well.


Oh if you can get the theme song o ut of your head, good for you. I catch myself singing the theme song every now and then.
