It also works on a variety of weeds.

I sprayed this 5 days ago and they barely look like anything hit them.

Spectracide had always been my manufacturer of choice, but the last two purchases of their products have not been as satisfying. This particular product was supposed to ensure no vegetative growth for a year, but fell short. There is a disclaimer in the text about heavy rain decreasing its effectiveness, but products I have purchased in the past handled whatever precipitation was received better. I cannot say I recall the total accumulation on those occasions, so that may be a factor. I have had a number of different types of weeds take hold in a hell-strip covered in mulch after using this product, much to my disappointment. I will take a closer look at the recommendations of others before purchasing this type of product again.

Be careful while reading the description! The description indicates this concentrate will cover 800 square feet, which is why I purchased it. After arrival the bottle and the instructions specifically say the 32 ounce bottle will only treat 75 square feet!

I am confident this product will work as well as the other Spectracide products I have used in the past but the coverage difference is a major disappointment.

MUCH better than normal wees+grass killer concentrates. Over the past decade, I've been growing more and more dissatisfied with the Weed&Grass Killer products (all brands: Sprectracide, Ortho, et al). Each year I buy them, even though they're advertised as "New! Improved! Stronger Concentrate!" the instructions have required you to use higher and higher settings of concentrate to get the same result as the previous year. So, yeah, they're ripping people off and thinking no one will notice.

So, I run across this "Vegetation Killer" from various brands and decided to try two brands (this review will also appear under the Ortho-brand concentrate I purchased and tried because they worked the same). They work MUCH better. They are more difficult to apply in that you should use a tank sprayer, and not a hose-end sprayer. BUT, it has now been two months since first application and the areas I sprayed are still grass and weed free.

This stuff is much less expensive than Weed&Grass Killers and works for a MUCH longer period of time. I put Weed&Grass killer on my gravel drive three weeks after putting this stuff down around the edges of my home, The edges around my home are still clear. The drive is starting to show weeds and grass growing again. 'Nuff said.

It totally KILLS whatever you put it on. I used it around my air conditioning units outside the house (2 of them). They are sitting on concrete pads, but grass, weeds and small trees were growing up, choking the air flow. I cut back the saplings and taller weeds, then poured this stuff as directed around the units. They are free of vegetation in any form after about 3 weeks. Also used under my back yard chain link double gate that kept getting jammed in tall grass that Spectricide regular grass killer would not keep away. This stuff totally killed the thick, pasture grass! Love it.

It took the whole 32 ounce bottle of this concentrated weed killer in a gallon of water according to the directions. A gallon does not go as far as you might think in the wild woolies of Arizona. It takes a week for the weeds to completely die but they do croak. I was just shocked it took that much concentrate per gallon. Not an economical way to keep a half acre weed free, but it is suppose to last one full year with no repeat growth, we shall see. You have to be careful of tree roots and other desirable plants with this non-selective weed killerl.

I've used Spectracide from one of the local home improvement stores with satisfactory results although I seem to remember it being labeled as weed killer not vegetation killer. I thought I'd try this product because of the price. Mixed as directed it didn't even brown the weeds, mixing twice the recommended strength browned them slightly, mixing 1:1 killed some of the 'test' weeds but not others. I will not purchase this product again.
