Since we don't have a coat closet, I ordered this rack to mount on the back of our front door to hang coats on. I was not disappointed. It was easy to mount, and super sturdy. As I write this, the rack is holding several winter coats and some sweaters. As a bonus, it blends nicely with our 1930's woodwork. A great purchace.
