David's negative review is misleading and inappropriate. This is not a toy and should not be judged as such. This is a hobby grade item intended for grown up railroad modelers. OF COURSE it is too fragile for little kids, and it has small parts: it is a little n-scale train! One does not buy it for little kids, but that is no reason to criticize it. It was the reviewer, David's, mistake. One wouldn't buy a $3,000 wilson 1911 type gun for a 5 year old, but that doesn't mean it's a bad gun.

Its a nice train set withh DCC on board. You will need to add another cafe powered car if you are planning to complete the 8 cars set so the train can run smoothly around tight curves.
