A must have - Spectrum is the best on art of the fantastic!
I have become a collector of this series. Each year I am there to get my copy as soon as the publication comes out. Nothing but the best is presented here. Highly recommended.

Later books are better
As I've said for the other earlier books in the Spectrum series, the later books are better. The earlier books, including this one, are a collection of very random pieces of art that often don't take up the full page. Go with the later books if you are seeking good quality art!

I am forever indebted to the Fenners and Arlo for the tome of volumes they have brought to the public's eye every year. And though I have lapsed in my garnering of each issue, I am resolved to right that wrong. These are the best of the best, deeply researched and informative with the ever important connections and contact information for most of the artists within. Always fresh and inventive, keep bringing them.
