5.0 out of 5 stars Great Value
These lights seem to have the natural balance of full spectrum that I would expect, but the price is awesome for such a bulb. I am buying more - all my fluorescents will be replced with these. But also note: These require electronic ballasts, the old type won't work. But if you want the full benefit of full sprectrum - you must use electronic ballasts anyways or you...

2.0 out of 5 stars 1 of 6 didn't work
Ordered six, which arrived in a timely manner, but when installed one of the six didn't work. For the amount of money involved vs. the hassle of returning, I won't, but it does affect my review. Lights that do work are bright, not flickery or weird colors like so many fluorescents.

5.0 out of 5 stars Six years of flawless performance and still going strong!, May 23, 2008

When I went to install two fluorescent light fixtures on the ceiling of my kitchen I knew I wanted something different than your everyday run of the mill problem laden fluorescents. I bought two T-8 fixtures from Lowes and then these lamps through Amazon. They have been running without a single bit of trouble or replacement for over six years now. The hum is not bad, certainly no worse than a typical fluorescent light fixture. I'm so glad I went with this type!!!

My experience is that light bulbs either work or fail within a short time. These bulbs were recommended for my fixture and they are perfect. What DOES separate this vendor from a bunch of others is the packaging they provided for shipping.

I ordered a flush-mount fixture at the same time as the bulbs, and while my package arrived without a scratch, there was virtually nothing protecting the fixture inside the carton. It was blind luck that it wasn't damaged and the reviews for that fixture reflect that flaw. The packaging provided for these bulbs was superb; I can't imagine how they could have protected them any better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Light bulb order, June 4, 2011

These bulbs arrived in tact and were in the lamp and on in 2 minutes. The full spectrum light is just what my cactus and house plants needed. Great Buy.

3.0 out of 5 stars The price on Amazon is outrageous, December 31, 2010
This review is from: 32 Watt Full Spectrum Fluorescent Light Bulb / 4' Length, 1" (T8) Diameter / 5000K Color Temperature / F32T8 Full Spectrum (Kitchen)
I am surprised some reviewers thought the price on here is great. I bought a 10-pack from H*me D*p*t today for $35.95. These full spectrum bulbs are very picky, they don't work well on my older ballast. I will have to update to a newer ballast. When running these lights and the so-called 'soft white' side by side, there is a huge difference. The 'soft white' is very yellow.

1.0 out of 5 stars 32 watt Full Spctrum Flourescent Light bulbs, December 11, 2010

I bought 8 of the32 watt full spectrum flourescent light bulbs to replace the overhead flourescent bulbs in my office. I guess I didn't do enough research because the light emitted was horrible. They were nowhere near bright enough and gave me a headache.People would walk into my office and comment on the light being so strange and poor. I had asssumed that the wattage would be sufficient - it wasn't. I had to take them down and put old bulbs back in.

5.0 out of 5 stars good substitute for SADs lamps, February 6, 2010

I'm trying this as an alternative to a SAD lamp - I've had it for 3 weeks and it seems to be making a difference in my mood - I'm also being diligent about taking Omega-3 - it gives an up-beat to be under it for my working day. I can say it's definitely a booster.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good beginner bulb, December 27, 2010
This review is from: 32 Watt Full Spectrum Fluorescent Light Bulb / 4' Length, 1" (T8) Diameter / 5000K Color Temperature / F32T8 Full Spectrum (Kitchen)
This is a really nice bulb. Its not too heavy but not too light and you can get a nice grip on it. When smashing it it tends to break into more peices than a GE lightbulb but still have the powdery explosion of a Phillips bulb. All things considered I'd probably smash another one of these.
