Harry Kinross White's beautiful tone and very apparent joy in playing make this my favorite classical saxophone CD. Arno Bornkamp's version of the Shulhoff suffers greatly by comparison even if it is better known.
If you want to hear alto saxophone played at the very highest level of artistry and with perfect accompaniment, buy this CD. |
