I homeschool, and was concerned at the end of the year whether or not my kids were up to grade level. This booklet was great - it helped me identify any weak areas (thank goodness there weren't many). By the time my kids took the end of year test they were confident (so was I) and were able to breeze through without any nervousness or fear. I highly recommend this book regardless of where your kids are schooled...it will really help in the confidence area.

This book has many reproduceable copies for test practice in preparation for CST and Star test for grade 2.

recently recieved the spectrum k/1st/2nd grade work books kids could not wait to dig and start working.
We have tried many different brands of work books with our kids since they began homeschooling,thought we would try the spectrum books.

{GOOD POINTS}
Ive Looked them all over and all seem to be well put together and has a better material coverage than our local school system for this grade group. Print is just the right size to be easily seen and read without influencing the young ones to revert back to writing jumbo.
Good picure to work ratio with the balance being on the work side of the scale {Not the case with many of the work books on the market..which have too many pictures and very little actual work}

{BAD POINTS}
If they have a down side it has not yet been revealed.

{SUGGESTIONS}
It would be nice to see these in a complete grade by grade bundle to make ordering a little simpler.
It would also be nice to see these with a printable work sheet cd or in a printable cd version.
Other than that...So far...I would not change a thing.

I would recomend that anyone homeschooling give these a try...I dont think they would be dissapointed.
