Hey, if you liked the movie, and love Sandra Bullock, then'll i'm sure you'll feel exactly the way i do about the soundtrack. It has all the songs that take you back to certain parts of the movie where you remenise about what's happening. As for myself, i really love Sandra Bullock as an actress, and all these songs reminds me of her in this movie. If you liked this movie a little bit, you'll like the soundtrack.

"A Namorada" by Carlinhos Brown has a good beat but it's the song "Make Tonight Beautiful" by Tamia that is worth the price alone. The beautiful lyrics and voice of Tamia is the perfect song to dedicate to the one you love.

i think this is a good cd. i am one of the few people that actually liked the movie too. there are good songs on the track that make you feel like being on a boat or at the beach. the "tk remix" is very good to listen to aswell. i am a competitive ice skater and i used parts of that track for one of my past programs. overall this is a good cd and i would recommend it.

This soundtrack was a dissapointment for me! No score for the movie was realesed. Which was so much better than all songs on the album except for maybe the Speed Remix (Written By Mark Mancina). For score and soundtrack lovers out there I highly suggest not buying this soundtrack. I think that Virgin records should realese a score of Mark Mancina's music.

This is a really good album for the price. My favorite track is 5 which is TK. TK is the theme song only kinda different.

I bought this CD this month after A. Waiting three years for a score CD by Mark Mancina to appear, as with the original "Speed", and deciding that it won't ever come; B. Waiting three years for the video to finally come down in price, buying it, and deciding the songs are perfect for the film. With the exception of the "Speed TK Mix" the songs on this CD are all heard aboard the ship, before Wilhelm Dafoe's character pulls out all the stops---literally. I don't really have a favorite track on this one; but by all means. but it and play it at your neighborhood block parties for the summer of 2001.

This soundtrack is probably bought more today than when the movie was out, for it contains the sought-after entrance music of the world's greatest fighter, Kazushi Sakuraba. His theme on the CD is the TK Remix, buy it for that. The movie was terrible, but at least the soundtrack redeems itself somehow.

Speed 2 the soundtract was great. The re mix has a great beat and the others will just blow you right out of the water. This is a must get cd.

I work on cruise ships, and rest assured that this soundtrack contains a collection of songs that genuinely do encapsulate the environment for which they are intended: ie pure kitsch (except for the fact that I doubt very much if ANY cruise line could afford UB40, regardless of how the group is doing these days). The remix of Mark Mancina's original "Speed" theme is painful, and while we're talking about him, why has there been no sign of his score? I can only echo the sentiments of one of the other reviewers: that his rumbling, fast-paced compositions have, much to my own frustration, never appeared for public consumption...
