This watch more than exceeded my expectations. It literally does everything. It counts calories, is a heart rate monitor, distance(by mile or step), stopwatch, timer, tells the time, and you can customize everything. You input your height and weight as well as the time and day and it remembers your previous workouts so you can monitor how you are progressing. The heart rate monitor strap is not uncomfortable whatsoever. Make sure to wear it how it says to wear otherwise you will not get an accurate reading. Tested it on the treadmill as well as my usual trail and seemed to be fairly accurate. For the price this is the best watch you can buy and I had been looking for one for months. You have to read the instructions otherwise it will be difficult to use this watch! But after a week I could use it like a pro.

I bought this product because the description it has several features that I wanted to use, but the only function that really work well is the clock function.
The function of monitoring the heart rate is a total desaster. It does not work even when there is no other equipment around, can not be battery problem because it is new, I just bought and the belt is well placed on the chest. After about 10 minutes of use it begins to show the heart rate totally wrong, if I remove the belt and put it back again It shows the correct frequency, but after 5 seconds the problem happen again. There is also a worst detail, the protocol used to measure the frequency between the belt and the clock is not compatible with the equipment market (eg bicycles), as the Polar monitors. Well if I had the opportunity to return the product I'll do so.

I was excited for this to arrive and use it. However that changed the set up is difficult (I'm still trying to figure it out) and the directions are helpful, but lengthy. It just appears that everything about this watch is a bit off or incorrect. Definitely not a put on and go watch, you will need to spend a good amount of time with it.

Garmin watch
