I got this card reader/writer as a freebie.

When I bought another good item from a third-party vendor here at Amazon.

It works just fine, this little card reader/writer .

SD and SDHC cards read and write perfectly via this device.

On both Windows and Linux machines.

At least for me they do.

Five Stars on performance so far for me.

But you wouldn't want to run over it with a bulldozer or a dumptruck.

Because the cheap plastic body might not withstand that sort of abuse.

Note that I did not deduct a star for that.

I recently bought an MP3 player that reads SD cards, but when I connected it to the computer, it kept jamming up when I tried sending MP3 files to the SD card in it, so I bought this. With this device, all my MP3 files sent to the SD card without any problems. This is great for all computers that don't have an SD card slot built-in. I'm glad I took a chance on this instead of spending $19+tax for Best Buy's SD card reader.

16GB Kingston SDHC card does not work with either of the two adapters I bought. A 2GB SD card worked fine in windows xp, but that did not even work in a windows 7 machine. Overall a worthless product.

I purchased this item to go with a new camera that uses SD or SDHC memory cards. I use the new format SDHC cards with my camera because of the quality of the photos. The SDHC cards can only be used with an SDHC reader. Excellent product to upload my photos to my laptop. Easy to use and saves time.

Superfast fulfillment of order.Barely have had time to try but seems to work fine.Is very small and much easier to use than to try to plug a cable into the camera's plug. Very convenient indeed. And one sure cannot complain about the price !

Tried this with a 16GB Kingston Class 2 SDHC. The light comes on but the card shows as empty. The same card in a RadioShack multi-format USB reader shows the files on the card just fine.

Can't comment on the seller's handling of it - it's not worth sending back.

Good news: It didn't destroy my flash card.

I love this mc and sd card reader, can read/write sd and sdhc, and mc, that i was looking for. I very useful tool for getting ur photos and videos from ur camera.

The only cons is that is a little bigger, but i use my usb ext cable.

Bought 5 of these in August figuring for less than a buck a piece I couldn't go wrong. I'd throw a couple in the camera bag and have a few spares. As of today, January 4th, the fifth and final one stopped working. When they did work however, they worked great. Not sure if I'll try another 5 bucks worth. Maybe I will as it's kinda like the lottery!

I purchased 3 of this memory card reader and no one of them is functioning. My advice is not to buy!

This item lasted for about 30 days, lightly used, and then stopped working. Did not try to send it back, because it wasn't worth the bother.
