There is no question about the joy and the intimacy that Coldplay have shown in their music. But for those of you who are new to the melodic feelings that Chris Martin & company have developed, because of the well-acclaimed Mylo Xlyoto, there is always a great speed to listen to. Speed Of Sound from their 2005 album X&Y, feels just as melodic and brilliant as it did when it came out a few years ago. The piano playing, and the feeling from the song is just pure pop music magic from Coldplay. I still love it, and if you are new to Coldplay's music and are looking for somewhere to start enjoying them, Speed Of Sound is honestly a nice place to start.
