For everyone that ever loved Speed Racer and want to remember it, learn more about it and and revel in the fun, this is the book!The book goes through Speed's origins in Japan, his popularity there and his rebirth in America in the 60's. I never knew what Speed's japanese name was nor why he had that "G" on his shirt... read the book and find out for yourself! The book also includes a great episode guide and all sorts of details about the incredible MACH 5. (Yes, it has what each button on the steering wheel does!) AND she also includes details about a Brand New, updated Speed Racer anime show airing in Japan right now! Wait till you see the sketch of the new RACER X! One of the very best parts of the book is the Glossary in the back giving the details of Speed's world. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! BUY THIS BOOK!

What a great book! It's good to know that I'm not the only fan of Speed in the world - my friends and family thought I was. It's a brilliant book, even if you don't like the series - but it's exceptional if you do. The trivia test I found...easy...but hey, I find most SR trivia things easy. There was a lot of interesting content, and heaps of pictures to accentuate the text! I wholly reccomend it!
