In 1997, George Stancliffe launched The American Speed Reading Project, dedicated to making speed reading a universal skill for all children, especially those under the age of 12. Stancliffe has taught thousands of children the basics of speed reading since then, and continues to pioneer ways to make speed reading more available to all children.
