I would highly recommend this product for anyone wanting to paint on fabric.

My yellow was awfully runny and came out opaque when printed onto t-shirts, all the other inks have been great though.

Four out of the six paints were opened causing them to dry out wasting half of each color.

I wasted my time buying separate paints before I found this kit that has everything you need in it...all the primary colors, so you can blend them to create any color of the rainbow. Just paint, then press with a hot iron and you're all set! The color is permanent and washable.

These are excellent, I use them to "screenprint" with freezer paper stencils on t shirts. My kids have shirts that have lasted through 2 boys and the ink still looks perfect and fresh.

Disclaimer :I used these to do a "screen printing" where I made my screen using modge podge, an embroidery hoop, and fine sheer fabric. I am not a professional screen printer.
I loved the richness of each color and the thickness of the ink. Having all the primaries you could easily create any color you wish. They spread perfectly and didn't run or bleed into my cotton fabric and the color stayed bright and true when it dried (although slightly darker shade much like paint when it dries). It easily washed off of my screen with warm water. I am very happy with this product.

Like all their products, the ink set I got works fine for what it is, and is above all economical. The ink is a little thick for my liking but can be thinned with water or special ink thinner, or water. The color is crisp and vibrant, and so far the prints have not broken down, but I have not washed them other then to test the heat setting yet. The ink does heat set if you iron it on a medium-high setting with no steam for about five minutes. I don't have a press yet, so I don't know how they work with that. The pack itself comes with six basic colors that look good on all color shirts so far that aren't the color of the ink itself. Why you would ink the same color as the shirt I don't know, but if you do it will look a bit off. The thickness of the ink makes printing light colors on dark material easy, though the opaque set would probabily work better.

You can't go wrong with these, especially if you're just starting out in screen printing. Although I have purchased other more expensive inks, these aren't too far behind in quality.

Speedball is a well known name but in no way a high quality paint to use for screen printing. Fine for fun little projects with your kids but don't expect the paints to last without cracking.

We make our own stencils for personalized shirts, and I've been able to get really great, professional looking results. I think the key is to be patient and choose the fabric according to what you want. Some things aren't meant to last, and some are. I have had different results according to what I use. But when I print onto a quality t-shirt, it lasts and it looks great! On something flimsier it is harder to get a good picture and sometimes have to be cared for differently.
