I expected quite a bit more considering the price. They're braided, may be nylon, and they're exactly 30 inches long. After that, it goes downhill. These appear to be very ordinary laces; about what you would buy for a pair of street shoes. I seriously doubt any combat group would go to battle with these laces. Just too wimpy. And they loosen up after a while just like most laces.
And they have no aglets. (tapered ends) They appear to be cut off a bulk roll and hastily heat sealed. Or perhaps glued. You could do it better I imagine. Then they're folded and stuffed in a paper wrapper with the word COMBAT printed on it. It's a fairly nice looking wrapper I admit, but it isn't worth an extra $4.
The price was $3.99 plus $4.49 S&H. I don't know what I was thinking when I ordered them. Really? Four and a half dollars shipping? They came in a plastic bag which is alright, but gee. Some serious gouging here.
Bottom line: These are VERY ordinary laces maybe worth the $4 price, but not the exorbitant shipping charge.
