After injuring my shoulder struggling to get into my previous Speedo Style #723603 suit, Speedo Aquatic Xtra Life Lycra Conservative Ultraback SwimsuitI was interested in this style (Vanquisher Keyhole Back).

Someone else at the pool had highly recommended it as being very resistant to damage from chlorine, so I thought it would be the best of both worlds to find something easier to get into and out of, as well as something more resistant to chlorine than my prior suit was.

Prior to ordering, I had called Speedo to find out if the suit was fully lined and was told that it was. However, the one I received is lined in the front and not the back. The exposed seam in the back drives me nuts (in addition to the "creep" that exists that I have to adjust as I am getting out of the pool). I do not have large thighs, and the legs in this suit do not fit snugly. I did not have this problem with the Conservative Ultraback.

The suit is probably a great suit (if it fits properly), but it does run larger than the Conservative Ultraback and it is not fully lined (only the front is lined.) As it is, it will "make do" until my shoulder heals and I can find a different style suit. In the meantime, I will be wearing my Coolibar Swim Jacket Coolibar UPF 50+ Women's Rainforest Swim Jacket - Sun Protective over it (for fear that the shoulder straps are going to unexpectedly slip off.

As you can see I really love this swimsuit. Go to water aerobics 2 to 3 times a week. Very comfortable no riding up,wonderful coverage in front. Will be ordering another suit in smaller size since have lost 15lbs. since I bought this one. When something works so well just wish they would make it for a long time. Great Speedo swimsuit!

I bought this suit to wear at the Community Center pool. Have worn it several times since I received it a couple weeks ago. I am not a lap swimmer so cannot speak to that use for this item. I've owned other Speedo suits and, so far, this one's the best I've had from that brand.

Pros:

~Style is simple with keyhole back that holds straps in place while doing water aerobics.
~Cups are lined so no embarrassing show-through.
~Easy to get on and off.
~Comfortable fit; no binding.
~Nice blue color which, so far, has not evidenced any tendency to fade.

Cons:

~Elastic "shelf" under cups could be a bit tighter but, hey, it's comfortable.

I have been wearing this type of swimsuit for many years. The only reason that I have replaced it is because I have needed different sizes. It works well for both water aerobics and swimming laps. You do not have to unhook the back strap to put the suit on--making dressing quick and easy. The fabric holds up very well in all chlorine situations. I swim in four different pools at least five-six days a week and my suit outperforms all of the other suits being worn. It used to come in more colors. I wish Speedo would expand the colors.
