This is a great speedo for the beach/pool. I wouldn't use this for my swimming workout, but it certainly is as much a functional suit as it is a "fashion" statement.

I have a muscular build so I took the advice of the previous reviewer and bought a 34 even though I have a 32 waist. It isn't baggy at all around the waist, and it fits better across my backside and thighs than I would expect the 32 would. Guys with slight builds should not adjust the size I suspect.

I was initially very pleased. Fit was small but suitable for swimming. After 2 months of 2-3 times/week swimming, hand washing, and line drying, the trunks are so thin they're not wearable. Are these old stock or seconds? I wouldn't waste my money to try again.

Great activewear, a nice compromise between baggies and more revealing suits for men. Decent quality and fit. You can look great without showing off, and be active in them comfortably though I would more use them to hang out in versus swim a mile. As others have pointed out, sapphire is probably one of the best colors for tan and fit people, and these run a bit small, so order a size bigger than you think. If you are "between sizes", the larger is the way to avoid a return. Enjoy your vacation!

I should have heeded all the other warnings...order a full size bigger as these run small. I'm a thin lanky guy (32" waist) and thought the Medium would be a good fit. Wrong...it hugs me so tight I feel even more self conscious than normal...large would have been perfect.

These do everything you would want in a swimsuit. They don't move around, they dry quickly, and they last.

I swim laps 4 to 5 days a week in a HEAVILY chlorinated public pool, and these suits still look and fit great after 5 months. I've never experienced the problems stated by other reviewers. Just be sure to rinse them well after each workout and then air dry.

I've worn quite a few suits over the years and these are hands down my favorite.

Feels good to swim in. Not too skimpy that you feel like a geeky nerd, and not too much that you have a big, full bag of wet stuff to take home after swimming.
Personally, I think the "boy short" design is the best looking - but then I am European after all!

Some wear/pilling occurred on the buttocks after a couple months, but to no large detriment - they didn't get any thinner through wear and tear - just the surface texture got a bit bobbly where you sit.

So good that I ordered another pair. Been using them for over six months now.
Be careful ordering size though. I am a 30-inch waist size so ordered the medium (I often wear small-sized clothes) - but had to send back for the large, as they fit way too small.
You don't want to be squeezing that part of your anatomy!!

I originally purchased 2 kinds of the speedos these Speedo Men's Fashion Xtra Life Lycra Solid Striped Shoreline Square Leg Swimsuit and these Speedo Men's Race Endurance+ Polyester Solid Square Leg Swimsuit. I really liked the looks of the stripes, but in the end comfort won. Speedo Men's Race Endurance+ was more comfortable and is treated to resist chlorine. The other pair of speedos have a wider elastic band around the waist that would dig into my skin. I wear a size 32 in pants and ordered size 32 and they fit perfect. A little tight but all speedos are supposed to fit that way. 4 Stars!

I ordered a medium, but it was just too small and tight fitting. I would recommend ordering one size larger than you think you are. The material seemed to be of good quality.

I agree with the other reviewers on the size issue. I ordered a size larger than I normally wear, and they are still tight. Definitely reminds me to stay on the diet. Otherwise very nice.

I ordered this speedo for a vacation and was a little unsure which size to get because the speedo size chart lists by waist size but the ordering options of amazon list small medium large. I am always between a 32 and 33 waist and went with the medium - it fit perfectly. It seems like a very high quality product - probably not something you would use for swim training but great for lying around the beach or swimming a bit in the ocean.
