I agree with the previous review that you should NEVER buy goggles online unless you know that they are going to fit. Once you locate a pair that fits, then go online and get the best price.

I went to numerous local stores and tried on every pair of goggles I found. The Speedo Anti-Fog goggles were the only pair I found that fit--primarily because the goggles are among the few that allow you to adjust the distance between the eye cups. Also, the eye cups are large enough to sit on the bones of my face, which I prefer to the Clockwork Orange feel of smaller cups.

I swim 3-5 miles per week in a chlorinated pool, rinse my goggles after each swim, and go through a pair about every 12-18 months.

ummm, so these goggles totally suck! even though they're fully adjustable they don't keep a good seal and leak really bad. i agree with one of the the reviewers and think you should NOT buy goggles online. go to your nearest sports equipment store and try on a bunch and then look for deals online.

I grew up using the Speedo Pro goggles and they have served me, and countless others that I know, well. They fit, they were tough and durable, and they just were great, everyday equipment.

Unfortunately, Speedo couldn't leave a good design well enough alone and had to go and screw it up by changing the goggle shape and fit. A sporting goods store owner I spoke with recently said that she has had dozens of customers say they can no longer use the goggles because they no longer give them the fit they had come to know and love. Add me to the list. Goodbye Speedo.

As a side note: Most new "performance" goggles have interchangeable, fixed-width nose pieces and therein is their fatal flaw. These nosepieces are the weak point of design in many models (Nike, you hear me?!) and they frequently fail/break. This makes them fundamentally useless for a large population of swimmers. Imagine being a quarter mile out to sea when your goggles break off your face because of this poor design. Yep, not something you'd want on your face. The Speedo Pro WAS just the equipment you would have wanted of your face until they messed with the goggle shape and fit. Poor choice on their part, and they've alienated a lot of swimmers and shop owners who deal with the swimming community. (One shop owner said he would likely ship the redesigned goggles back because none of his long-time customers will use the Pro model any longer becasue of the redesign.)
