I ordered these goggles on Amazon on June 20th, 2012 (got here a few days later) and it is August 31st 2012. Here are my thoughts on these goggles at this point.

-I swim at the very least four times a week (in a chlorinated pool - not the ocean or any fresh water), about an average of 1000 meters per swim session. Thus far, as of this writing that would be ABOUT 40 times used at the pool and about 40K meters.

-The clarity was quite superb at first - the goggles simply never fogged up and that was great. Unfortunately, I can't quite remember when that changed but I'd say about half way into the current state they're in that I've discussed above. The clarity even at this point is still enough to see everything you need to in the pool - to give an analogy: the clarity started off as if I was watching a crisp, Blu-ray movie and now they look like VHS - no biggy - still operational.

-These goggles provide a nice, wide angle of view - you can see anyone in the lanes beside you on either side in your peripheral vision just fine - at least I can - the goggles provide such a view.

-The biggest bonus for me that these goggles provide is that out of the 40 or so times I've used them at the pool since I've had them I can count on one hand how many times I've had to stop at one end of the pool to clear out water and adjust them - they do a fantastic job of staying on the face and keeping water out. I can only vouch, of course, for the shape/contours of my own face and maybe others might not have such luck but as it is - practically no water seeps in.

For how much money these cost you just can't go wrong with these - as mentioned already, I write this review not after a week or so of use but two and a half months and I'm still using them.

First of all, the "new two color double headstrap with ergonomic clip" isn't a good invention, at least not any better than the traditional strip shaped straps.
As to the mirrored thing, it works great when there is plenty of sunlight, but it will suck indoors, too dark.
Finally, it's not anti-fog, or at least the anti-fog doesn't last for more than three uses. It was anti-fog for the first time, but things went downhill after the second use.

Swimming goggles have many types depending on the kinds of eyes and nose a person has. This works really well for asian eyes/nose. Quality is really good, and the fit maintains well in the water.

I have always sworn by the vanquisher goggles for lap and open water swimming. I've been purchasing them for years. Something has changed with the latest model. The plastic feels cheaper and lighter, the nose bridge does not keep the eye pieces together securely and they fogged immediately. With the latest design changes, Speedo has lost a faithful, decades-long customer.

I own a lot of Vanquishers, but this particular type (with the college colors) is extremely dark around the edge of the eye socket. I have found that it is definitely not the best goggle for swimming when there is any shade on the pool as judging distance to the wall is more difficult than other goggles. They are super cute, but not the best ones that I have bought.

1. Fog up after 3 laps. I've tried nose pieces of different size (goggles come with 3 sizes) and adjusted straps to no avail.
2. The grey tint though probably great for outdoors makes indoor swimming a rather dark experience.

I bought these specifically because my other Speedo goggles had started fogging up after six months of use. However, these fogged up the first time I used them. Ridiculous.

I couldn't wait to try these goggles but within a couple of minutes in the pool condensation got the best of it. I had to rinse them after every lap which really defeats the point of wearing goggles in the first place.
