We are lake people and here in OK the lake bottoms are full of rocks big and small. Every year I buy a new pair of water shoes hoping they won't rub blisters or let the small rocks inside the shoe when I am in the lake and until now have been unsuccessful. These come up high enough and fit snug enough around the top of the foot to keep the small stuff out yet the material is stretchy enough they are so comfortable you can wear them all day with no complaints. It has taken me 20 years to find the best but I did it and this shoe is it!!!

Speedo Women's Wavewalker Zip Water Shoe

These shoes, while comfortable and attractive, have soles that are slippery when walking on some of the ceramic tiles used at my local YMCA pool area. This was not the case with my older pair of water shoes. For this reason I would not buy them again.

I am pleased with the Speedo Women's Wavewalker. I purchased them for when I do water aerobics in our pool. They offer enough cushion and support to make the workout easier.
Nice quality...what you would expect from Speedo.
I have rather narrow feet and typically wear a 8.5. However, the 9 fits as recommended.

These water shoes look ok, but are dangerous to wear! The silicone bottoms are quite slippery in the pool. Further, they provide no support whatsoever for doing water aerobics or water walking. They may be ok for the beach, but that remains to be seen. At this point, I've only worn these shoes for a few moments, one time. A big disappointment!

These shoes are very comfortable and just as attractive as they appear in the photo. They're well made and worth the money.

These fit well and were great at the beach over the summer. The bottoms did not provide great grip on smooth surfaces. Still good for me.

Bought these shoes for the falls in Jamaica, and was very pleased with their performance. I wear a 6 1/2 but bought a 7 because they only came in full sizes. I did not have any problems with fit. They kept out the sand and rocks and felt very comfortable on my feet in the water and walking around on dry land.

I bought two pair of these shoes. One for my girlfriend and a pair for myself for a recent rafting trip. We used them the entire time and had very few complaints. At the end of the trip, my girlfriend had little marks on the top of her feet from the zipper after jamming her feet into the rafting foot holds. My feet were a little sore as well from the zipper, but what do you expect when you're jamming your feet into tight spaces? At first, we both thought the we might have done a little better with a half-size smaller, but the shoes didn't fall off our feet while we played and swam in fast flowing river water. On the whole, we both loved our shoes. I've taken my shoes to the gym sauna... and my girlfriend just took her shoes on a family trip to Hawaii to wear while snorkeling. Overall, a decent water shoe for a variety of activities.

Using this shoe for a water aerobics class. Excellent for traction. Lightweight in water and very comfortable.

I bought the size 5 because I am a size 5 1/2 and I did not want to order the 6 beacuse since they are water shoes is better that they are snuggly than they are lose. They were only a bit tight on the tip of the toes but very doable. The bottoms were very good for the rocks at the Beach I went in Key West, did not feel sleepery at all ,I felt confidnet wlaking in rocks. Love the zipper, easy to put in and out.
