Larger bits are very good - small ones don't cut
on May 23, 2015
I've had very good luck with this tool, for the most part.
The second largest bit took out two screws in a jiffy.
The smallest bit barely cut into a small steel screw on an antique sewing machine - and I mean barely. I went to the next size up, and that was still pretty slow going. It did cut away enough material that I could crush away what was left, remove the part it was holding and then used a visegrip to twist out the shaft.
I had tried Blue Creeper, PB Blaster and Liquid Wrench every day for a week to loosen that screw, but it must have been set with a torque wrench. I was about to reach for the 16# fix-all tool, but the SpeedOut finally got it out and I can get on with refurbishing this machine.
