This book will only be of use to you if you have a business or plan on starting one. Makes a couple good points on what a business should consist of without ever giving specific advice on what type of business to start. Very short, only 36 pages of the actual text, this book took me about an hour to read from front to back. The text is only on the right pages, on the left is one quote from the right side of the book. The whole book could be summarized in about one page, it does make a couple good points though, but I'm not going to give them away since they are the whole book. There is a little advertising of his seminars, but nothing too bad where it would turn you of from reading the book. I expected a little more from Harv, his 1st book had a lot more solid info, despite the fact that he kept promoting his seminars. Speedwealth wasn't informative enough, since I bought the book I might reread the whole thing again on one of my lunch breaks at work.

Speed Wealth -- a review

The book Speed Wealth by T.Harv Eker was one of the best books on wealth creation that I have ever read. It was suggested to me by my business mentor who is wealthy and successful. I said if she likes it then I will have to read it. I am absolutely glad that I did. Let me tell you what this book lays out that was a paradigm shifter in my life.
Eker exclaims that he can take anyone and show them how to make a million dollars in three years or less. Now, this is a pretty tall order. Yet, Eker effectively delivers on his promise in this book of only 72 pages. He does this through his "Power Principles" at the beginning of every section. Some of them are as simple as "Success is a learnable skill" and others a little more mind bending like, "Conventional wisdom doesn't work ... and never did!" All of them are very simple and direct. Eker comes out and tells you how it is. There is no philosophy, no self help talk or rhetoric. He says what he has to say. You get it and move on.
He teaches some basic skills of business, the law of attraction and about the four types of ways to make money. Speed Wealth feels like a combination of Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki , The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles and your Business 101 textbook. The most striking element of the book is that the "Power Principles" are given then explained briefly and maybe an example or two. They are laid out in format that everyone can understand and follow. If a young budding entrepreneur asked of a book that would help them attain and grow their wealth I would suggest this one.
A main theme of this book is the power of duplication. He uses Sam Walton founder of Wal Mart and Ray Kroc the founder of McDonalds as examples. He explains how to make money in your sleep and that if you want to be wealthy to be the conductor of the orchestra and not in the orchestra. The points made in Speed Wealth are timeless and doable. It shows that anyone can become wealthy if they can simply follow the rules. He shows that wealth is not some far off fantasy that is unattainable to the common person. He shows step by step what you need to do, how you need to act and the things that you should be thinking. If someone followed the suggestions in this book to the letter in three years they would become a millionaire as long as they followed the rules and of course got themselves out of their own way.

This little booklet is sold at the free 3-day Millionaire Mind Intensive seminars for about $12 (depending on how many you buy). It's definitely not worth more than that.

Looks easy to do and implement! Easy read! 1st read completes in 45min! Re-read to find more interesting facts, points! Enjoyable and can apply to my businesses! Thanks!

This book is very eye-opening and mind blowing. It might be a small book, but it's awesome. It makes you look at getting rich in a whole new way. I think Harv Eker has written the best books on getting rich. He makes getting rich seem easy. He lets you see the entire process from beginning to end and takes all the mystery out of it. It is suited for me because I'm an entrepreneur and I have the intelligence and drive to make a successful business. I have read Harv's books and many marketing books plus many personal development books, and I will keep reading many more books that can give me whatever help I need. Now I feel I am really and truly on the SUPER HIGHWAY to wealth. I am certain that my days of being poor are coming to an end very soon. I have a business that wasn't doing too well, but now I have a clear vision of how to make it a success and I'm getting more ideas on that every day. Things are starting to click wonderfully. I spend all day every day learning and working on my business. This is the happiest I have ever been in my life. Harv Eker is like an arch angel of mercy come from heaven to show people the light and rescue them from poverty.

I was introduced to T. Harv Eker and this book almost four years ago when my mother presented my husband and me with tickets to one of Harv's seminars. Having seen many famous top speakers over the past two decades, I was a bit skeptical at first. I thought that perhaps it would be "the same old same old". But it wasn't.

In Speedwealth, Harv touches upon common conceptions and misconceptions of wealth in a way that just makes sense. His practical approach and "no holds barred" attitude are what make his seminars and books so enjoyable. This guy doesn't pull any punches or give you vague information. He tells it like it is and shows you how to do it. His methods and seminars are like no other.

Speedwealth may be a small book by today's standards, but it is packed with information and it gives you a taste of more to come. This is the kind of book you can flip open at any page, any time, and become motivated to do what it takes. I highly recommend this book and any other by Harv.

After attending his Millionaire Mind Intensive seminar and picking up this book, I started on a personal journey to achieve success. My goal was to become a successful published author. My fourth novel (a reprint of my debut) is due out in 2007! I am slowly but surely getting there. Speedwealth is a gem! Thanks, Harv!

Speedwealth is Harv's first book, long before Secrets of the Millionaire Mind came out. It's an exceptional little book - along the lines of Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki and The E-Myth by Michael Gerber. Harv outlines clear, short, simple steps that - if you follow them to the letter - your business will for sure skyrocket!

Another cool thing about Speedwealth is it isn't jam packed with marketing messages and invitations to visit Harv's website every other paragraph! <g> I mean, the excessive marketing in his newer book - Secrets of the Millionaire Mind - is bearable because you have to admire this marketing genius!! But, in Speedwealth, it's kinda refreshing to just let the powerful business principles sink in.
