J. Richard Gentry, Ph.D., earned his Elementary Education degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and a Ph.D. in Reading Education from the University of Virginia in 1977. For sixteen years he taught Reading Education at Western Carolina University where he directed the Reading Center. I received this item in the condition described, used, and in a timely manner. I highly recommend this resource to anyone who has trouble spelling, or is trying to help someone who has trouble spelling. As a homeschooling mom, I truly appreciated all the insight this book provides. I also would recommend this seller.
