5.0 out of 5 stars A top shelf narrative!, July 27, 2006
This review is from: Spellbound: The Ascension (Paperback)
This wonderful story falls in the category of what I like to call a coast-to-coast read. I started it on the plane in New York and finished it as we landed in Los Angels. Have I read better stories? Yes, but not many. Spellbound rates up there with all of the heavy hitters in the world of tantalizing fiction. The writer has done a fantastic job.

Being an avid reader and an extensively published author, I can assure one and all that this tome is an adventure like no other. I laughed, cried and smiled, but mostly just enjoyed the ride. Well done Mr. Curry! I eagerly away your next story.

I read quite a bit. Spellbound is the most creative novel I've read in years. I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys being glued to his or her favorite reading chair. I can't wait for Mr. Curry's next book!

This review is from: Spellbound: The Ascension (Paperback)
I was riveted to the book from the first chapter to the last. Fresh, new approach by the novelist; nice to see some unsullied ideas for a change. Keep your eye on this up and coming writer.

The Ascension
By Mathew Curry

"Yours is one of the most unique novels I have ever read, and your writing style is superb," writes Richard Moran, Literary Editor and Author of Dooms Day; End of the World, Cold Sea Rising, and Dallas Down.

"I was really impressed and was so enthralled I found it hard to put down. I was really kept in suspense until the last chapter!" says Michelle Maddox, of Wichita, KS.

"It really keeps you wanting to know what happens next, through the entire book. I really feel this will be a success story for him," raves the author's wife.

"A well written book. Keeps you `Spellbound' during all 22 chapters. Great for quiet entertainment," says D. Koch, of Madison, Alabama.
