Another Impressive edition,
By Nancy E. "Nancy" (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Spellbound (Sweep, No. 6) (Mass Market Paperback)
Morgan life has changed greatly since Cal and Selene fled from her home town. In this book more change happens than she coud ever prepare herself for. Her coven goes under a dramatic shift when it joins forces with another. As her love for Cal fades she finds love in another witch, hunter. And she is presented with a chance to make her much more powerful and knowlegeable so she will have the strength to fight back if hurt. Will Morgan survie all the change? Will she beable to keep her secret from her parents? Will she find out the truth about her mother. All these questions are answered in this impressive novel.I was very pleased with this edition to the series. It's just as good as the last. I can't wait till Cate Tieran releases another book in this thrilling series. I'm begining to love some of the charecters I once hated and hate some of the charecters I once loved. If you're a fan of the series, read this book. You won't be dissapointed.

Mildly Amused.. at the comment ( not the book the books are incrediable.),

ok to start i must laugh in the face of those who insist on commenting on how bad, "curruptive" , and "steering off the right path" these books are. ITS CALLED ENJOYMENT PEOPLE! fiction!!!!! just because a 14 year old like myself picks up one of these books and enjoys it does NOT mean he/she will turn to wicca ways. i am a cristian! my mom has no problem buying these books for me and even she understands why i read them. hello? because reading is good for you. and opening up your mind to things like wicca can help you understand people are differnt and have different views and even help ground you to your own. so if anyone out there insist on bluntly stating how awful these books are please realize.. you can have you own opinions and views.. but no one hear really wants to hear them.theres my blunt statement for ya'. have a nice day.

Recommended to Parents who cant get their daughters to read,
By El Brujo "Brujo Hechisero" (Lowell, Ma) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Spellbound (Sweep, No. 6) (Mass Market Paperback)
I purchased the Sweep series for my 13 year old daughter in the hopes that maybe she would read. "She hated to read." Well I was amazed, and could not get her to go to sleep, as she would spend the whole night, with a night-light on reading these books. She enjoyed them so much, and could not stop talking first about Cal and then Hunter, that I had to see what all the fuss was about.Well after two weeks, a book a day, for a girl who hated to read, it sparked my curiosity, so I started reading, and was surprised to find out how enjoyable a Teen book about Teen Witches could be. I am not really into Wicca, but these books are really enjoyable. I am on my fifth book, and my daughter read each twice, and is know on the Circle of Three Series. I have to highly recommend these books to those parents who can not get their daughters to read. These are excellent stories, full of fantasy, horror, and fun.

An Ending and a Begining.,
By
This review is from: Spellbound (Sweep, No. 6) (Mass Market Paperback)
This sixth book of Sweep ends a cycle in the storyline and make room for a new beginning. Many revelations regarding Selene, and some about Cal. Morgan is still shook up about Cal and Selene (as well as the previous book's events). Hunter believes she needs to study hard and fast in order to control her powers. Is there a relationship building? We learn a lot about Hunter's past as well as more about the whole world of magic. Morgan prepares for a ritual that will greatly increase her knowledge of how to control her powers. But then she begins to suspect that Cal is back in town. If Cal is back, can Selene be far behind? Wonderful plot twists and trust remains a big issue. In the end, the Cal/Selene cycle is wrapped up. Some readers have said that it also means that the series then goes downhill (well, I will have to judge that for myself).

Heartbreak and Happiness,
This review is from: Spellbound (Sweep, No. 6) (Mass Market Paperback)
Even though Cal broke her heart Morgan wants to try and have a relationship with Hunter. Her passion for Hunter is completely different from her old relationship but if Cal comes back who will Morgan choose? This book is one of the best and these books get better every one, I can't wait for the seventh one.

On edge,
By
This review is from: Spellbound (Sweep, No. 6) (Mass Market Paperback)
This entire series is fast paced and revealing. Spellbound is a page turning thriller, with surprises around every corner. Morgan and Hunter are growing closer, yet are still trying to figure out what they ARE- a couple, friends, enemies? Morgan discovers exactly who murdered her mother, and how this relates to her. She is determined to find out her heritage- to find answers, and many of her questions (and ours) are answered. I recommend this to all who have read the previous books in the series. If you haven't start with number 1. All of the books are magnificent, can't-wait-for-the-next-page type of books. Buy them all at once. If you don't, you'll be left at the end of any of the books, thinking, "Dang! I need to know what will happen NOW!" Enjoy.

Love and Hate, so close, so far,
This review is from: Spellbound (Sweep, No. 6) (Mass Market Paperback)
Morgan is having problems. First, she has been avoiding Hunter, and he confronts her. Second, she know she still loves Cal. The two circles, Kithic and the one Cal started, are joining, to become the new Kithic. Things are happening to Hunter, like the car suddenly is out of brake fluid, almost killing him and Morgan. Morgan knows Hunter is jealous of Cal for being with her, and she knows it, which is why she doesnt tell him when Cal tries to contact her... or when she speaks to Cal. Now, she doesnt know who to trust--Cal, who claims Hunter put a spell on her, or Hunter, her new love which she thinks she trusts. Theres only one person she can trust, and if she makes the wrong choice, she may be killed by Selena, Cal's mother.

The books in this series just get better and better. I couldn't belive that this book could be better than the last 5, but I've been proven wrong. This book was so GOOD. I can't wait to get my hands on the next book. Hunter and Morgan are really sweet in this book. The plot was full of twists and turns, and I just couldn't tell what would happen next, like in other series. I can't tell you anymore, because it would be spoiling it for ya'll, cuz everything in this book was trilling. I hate the cliffhanger at the end, and currently, I just wana go bang my head on the wall thinking about it. sighhehehe |
