4.0 out of 5 stars Germany's best kept secret, first rate gothic metal., February 24, 2000
By Bete Noire (Vancouver, Canada) - See all my reviews
Darkseed have a sound in many ways similar to Rammstein, however they sing in English and tend to be a lot more gothic and atmospheric than the latter. They manage very successfully to expand the death metal envelope into new areas, permeated by a genuine romanticism.Less industrial than Rammstein, sometimes they also have hints of Depeche Mode and early Paradise Lost. All these are blended into a unique and innovative metal, yes metal, concoction.

Ok Im 17 Male Metal Head Extoradnar. Yes This is the most dark rock metal abulm I have and my fav too. This Cd is not like Sucky Astral Advetures in the least. Remeber its made in 1997 b4 they changed their style.

Lets we start of past the intro.

Song 2 hmmm words to descirbe Its Hard Its Gothic has strong German Vocals and its fast.

Song 3 there are nice female vocals its the best track on the cd, its catchy.

Song 4 Harsh beat for this progressive type all male Vocals.

Song 5 Lightest song on the track but still Gothic and harsh.

Song 6 the only song I dont love to death its still good had female vocals.

Song 7 Amsome start with the Female Vocals but nothing too special.

Song 8 The Female vocals are good in this one

Song 9 The dark track my God dose it get heavy Nevenmind is the word

Song 10 soft good bye song

This Cd will apell to fans of Xandria, Paradise Lost, Anathema, and Lullacry
