Ever wonder WHY something is spelled the way it is? This book puts most all those "exceptions" into logical groupings which follow rules! It also gives some helpful mnemonics for remembering those tough ones. I've been searching for years for something that would help my son learn to spell like my favorite 5th grade teacher did, and this is the closest thing I've found. Best spelling book out there for kids and adults middle school on up.
