I recommend the whole Enchanted World Series to everyone who loves mythology and lore of things old and fantastic. I love the whole series and this book is now an addition to my collection.

This is a wonderful book for any collector or reader with an eye for stories about enchantments and the breaking of evil spells. What little girl hasn't wished for a frog to turn into a prince and what young man hasn't wished for an encounter with a fairy lady in disguise!? Old favorites and new classics; this book will charm the hearts of young and old alike.

These books are absolutely amazing. I hope they eventually put these in digital format so I can also enjoy them on the go. I originally had about 7 of these ordered back in the '80's and for some reason never ordered the rest, so I have now made it my goal to slowly add the remaining books to my collection.

These books are of excellent quality. They are hardback with a canvas/cloth like material on the outside and beautifully illustrated throughout. The stories are gripping and fun to read because you learn the true origins of the fairytales you heard as a kid, as well as learn how they truly played out (not always the same as Disney makes out...).

If you love the fantasy world and beautiful art, then all 21 of these books should be in your collection. Just order one, and you will hooked into seeking out the remainder for your collection. These are my favorite books. I loved them as a child, and even more so now that I am older and can really appreciate the quality of this series, and not only in their craftmanship, but how they are written and tastefully illustrated.

One word best describes these for me...Captivating.

This series was very entertaining to me as a child. I repurchased some of these books looking to re-experience the thrill. Unfortunately, this series is written poorly - and I can see it entertaining to youngsters - but as an adult the writing lacks depth and is annoying. It almost reads like a dungeons and dragons overview of worlds - than actual short stories or mythology.
