I bought the Sole Platinum, Moszkito Archy, Orthaheel Ryder, and Spenco Polysorbs for a side-by-side comparison.

Moszkito Archy = 5 stars

PROS - the highest most pronounced arch, had adequate cushioning overall, was wide enough to provide full coverage for my wide feet, and looked rugged

CONS - leather means I couldn't take it to the beach or the pool

Sole Platinum = 3

PROS - made of rubber with an assortment of colors, which means you can wear it anywhere; adequate cushining; looked very durable

CONS - you could barely feel the arch and the straps were rough and scratchy (although not unbearable)

Orthaheel Ryder = 1

PROS - none

CONS - arch was spread across a very wide area of the foot, so I felt like my foot was tilted to the side...not comfortable at all! In addition, the sandal was too narrow

Spenco Polysorbs = 4

PROS - made of soft rubber that completely envelopes and molds to your foot. At $35, it also costs significantly less than any of the above brands.

CONS - Arch height was comparable to Sole's, but the material gave it an edge.

I kept both the Moszkito and Spenco - the former for daily wear, the latter for the beach and pool.

I wanted sandals with arch support, sadly these didn't work out.

Here is the problem - it's not enough to merely have arch support in the shoe, the support must be there when you put weight on it. I'm 5'11", weighs about 175 lb's, when I stand normally, the arch support on these sandals are pretty much all collapsed under my weight. I cannot feel anything. Maybe I need to lose some weight or whatever... but I digress.

Going back to my old Birkenstock's, the arch support on those are tough.

I've never had flip flops with arch support before so I can't compare these to other sandals with arch support. I can tell you that if you're wearing cheapo, flat flip-flops, these are far superior for foot comfort and support. I have some minor plantar fasciitis and these provide a lot of relief.

Excellent flip-flop for those who normally wear arch supports. Very comforable, sturdy and durable. Withstood a week of walking on lava rocks with no signs of wears. I am so smart for making this choice.

Having plantar faciaitis in one foot, these sandals are great for keeping from keeping my feet from having more problems. These sandals are actually helping in the healing process. I also keep one pair in my office whenever my feet have problems from standing too long.

Might be the most comfortable footwear I own period. It feels like it's molded to my feet and the cushioning is just amazing. These are the first sandals I've ever had where I could walk a significant distance and feel good.

I can't take a step in regular sandals, but I can wear these all day. Thrilled to find them! If you're a half size, order the size smaller.

My son has Sever's disease, a common cause of heel pain in pubescent children. Flat flip flops make it worse. These offer a lot of support and allow him to wear this type of sandal. I have tried them on and find the arches uncomfortably high for what I think are pretty normal feet. So I guess if you have flat feet or really need extra support, these are a good product.

Finally, a pair of sandals that won't give me headache! I really like this sandal. In fact, it's comfortable. It's perfect for beach footwear. Its color is great! I can feel the difference in how I wear this from my old sandal due to the design of this orthotic sandals. It's excellent! I'll do business with this seller in the future!

These are the most comfortable sandals I've ever had. The arch support is fantastic. With the arch and deep heel cup, you can walk uphill without feeling like you're going to step out of them. The order arrived quicker than I expected.Great product and great service. Thank you
