Spenco Womens Yumi Polysorb Total Support Sandal is a Flip Flop style sandal that provides orthotic arch support. The Spenco Yumi combines the support and stability of their bestselling insole with the comfort and simplicity of a slipon sandal. Great for after sports or training or just kicking back indoors or out. Unlike some other slipons Spenco TOTAL SUPPORT Sandals are designed with orthoticquality arch and heel support. Superior impact cushioning and motion control help reduce overpronation and supination - common problems associated with flat slabstyle sandals.

Very lightweight with good arch support.

My right foot is totally flat and a flip flop without support leaves my foot hurting after just a few hours and I can wear these on errands all day.

Alright, I can't stand it when people are over-dramatic when they write reviews, but really.. THESE SANDALS CHANGED MY LIFE. When your feet hurt, all of you hurts, this is a fact of life. Yes sure, you can buy insoles to go into your shoes, and all of that stuff, but sometimes in the summertime all you want to do is WEAR A FLIP FLOP for pete's sake. After I bought these shoes I could flip and flop to my heart's content, with never even a bit of foot pain. (I don't have low arches, I have NO arches. It's a gift passed down through my family) I did send my first pair back for a size larger, so if in doubt, go a size up.

I bought the Spenco sandals a year ago with a pair of Orthoheel sandals. I needed the arch support for my plantar faciatis. I love these sandals compared to the Orthoheel sandals. They provide me arch support I need so that my injury doesn't hurt at the end of the day. They are very comfortable. I am looking out here now to buy another pair for this season.

I am 46, and until a couple of years ago I hated "flip-flops" mostly because of how uncomfortable they feel between your 1st and 2nd toes, and how badly my feet would start to hurt after only half an hour of walking in them. I am also a big guy -- 6'2", 265lbs -- with flat feet. Add to that the bone spurs in my feet and the tendency to get plantar faciitis.

Flip-flops, sandals, thongs, slippers -- whatever you call them where you're from -- were definitely not for me. That is, until I happened across these sandals at a local , trendy shoe retailer. These sandals are amazing.

They are designed and made by a company which makes, of all things, orthotics. They support my weight and compensate for my flat feet like no other sandal I have ever tried. Over time, they form to your feet, like any good orthotic should, making them so comfortable you forget you're wearing them. And I never even feel the strap between my toes, it is so well designed.

These sandals are so comfortable and stable that I wear them constantly throughout the warm seasons. I buy two pair each spring, one for getting dirty working in the garden and one for cruising around the house or walking the shoppes. To me, they are well worth the price. I can even comfortable drive a car with a manual transmission wearing them...something I can't do while wearing any other sandal. Another test is how long can you stand in a pair of sandals before your feet start to hurt...in these, I have not found a maximum yet. In other sandals, it is something between 15 and 30 minutes.

I have tried a couple other branded sandals with arch support, but they never got comfortable. So I came back to these. I only hope that they never stop making them.

I got these for my husband who has flat feet and we had found shoe inserts that he wears in his slippers to help his flat feet on the concrete floors but in AZ slippers are too hot in summer! i stumbled onto these while searching for something else and got them- he loves them and his flat feet and bad ankle haven't been bothering him since!

I have 2 pair of the Spenco flip flops. I normally wear a 10.5 to 11 shoe. I purchased a pair of 11s. I have used them for a couple of years, and they are still comfortable. They do, however, seem to run a little big. So, for my second pair, I bought a pair of size 10s. These are equally as comfortable - but fit me a little better. So, if you wear a half size (as I do), you will likely want to order the size down.

These wear well, last a long time, and are very comfortable. Personally, I have almost no arch at all, these are inexpensive (compared to specially made items from the podiatrist) and function perfectly. I can now walk for extended periods of time in flip flops with no heel / arch pain.

If you've priced any kind of footwear with arch supports or 'orthotic' features, you'll know that under $30 is a good price. So far they have been more comfortable than most sandals and flip-flops, because they do have more of an arch. Don't know about long-term durability; they are pretty lightweight. Price is a lot for flip-flops, but not a lot for the arch/orthotic features.

I bought these for the sake of arch support since my doc asked me to stop wearing flip-flops. I think they are sturdy and do provide good arch support. I wear these everyday to the pool and the material is definitely water proof. As for sizing, I usually wear an 8-8.5 in shoes and the polysorb 8s fit me just right. As for looks, they look like a beach slipper, nothing fancy, but at least they do the job.
