His finest solo release, fitting right in the sweet spot for my taste between the loose and lethargic style of his first Toshack Highway album and the louder, aggressive work of the mighty Swervedriver. Also highly recommended: Magnetic Morning's full length A.M., the excellent collaboration with Interpol drummer Sam Fogarino released around the same time.
